my archetype experiences:"the explorer". having this pandemic lock down has been my blessing in disguise...as I now stop moving in so many directions and work inward and working at being grounded~~being in the present moment of where I am , and what I have before me...taking care of myself ..to be centered and aok..

It’s silly to think people don’t believe everyone is judging them as well. Of course we do. We spend our lives trying to overcome that.

Great comments about Jesus. I have believed in that perspective all my life, and grew up a catholic. I remember spending a great deal of time in the hall at catechism class for asking the wrong questions.

At 50:00 describing the rescue stereotype: does this include politicians who cause problems so that they can rescue us with the solution? Interesting to contemplate the psychology behind it.
I wasn't trying to master anyone, I can't even master my daughter's death I wasn't going to believe was an accident when I did not see a hatch or back door for her in the shack where after she died and I hadn't been in this place before, Mother's are not supposed to outlive their grown adult children like this, but here we are. I can't master a narcissistic person, I can only see for myself when I have a back door I can use it. That's what I taught my daughters, and that's how I survived since I was a little girl by taking breaks going on long walks, and doing hobbies. When you get on a plane and if there was a supposed accident, you give yourself air then the other person oxygen There is nothing wrong with self-care. I no longer believe in accidents, everything is for a reason or a season, and has consequences for our own actions.

In my self-development workshops I work a lot with archetypes as well. I have all of your books, Caroline. I made a video about the child archetype.
Myss speaks to the EGO. IT is all about me. Once you experience the death of the EGO then this experience of it all being about me ends. The EGO / SELF is an illusion. When you "forgive" you have realized it isn't PERSONAL. You also will see the veil / ego / self die when you keep forgiving the people that betray you / reject you.
I am very interested to know what Caroline was going to say about Oppenheimer splitting the atom and how that effected our relationship to Time and space (1:25:49). Anybody have any ideas where that intriguing train of thought was going?
i think that this reflects how far man has come: we can restructure the most basic, fundamental unit of our universe: the atom! if we can do this... what else can we accomplish?

I know, right? I don't like defining myself by my political views, but even though I'm liberal I'm firmly on the side of Republicans despite some disagreements. The liberal left are the most obnoxious, condescending, smug, authoritarian group I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I live in a "red" state and I've never been more grateful to live among Republicans considering our current political climate. Everyone is extremely kind, thoughtful, and helpful. Suggesting people take responsibility for their own actions, behavior, or life situation is not bullying. And almost every story propogated by the media is completely false upon further inspection, and the actual bullying that isn't reported at all is almost solely on the "liberal" side. This I'm sure of, because I've put in the work.. not for my "side".. but for the truth. This is a very one dimensional political view. I'll still listen I guess because I can listen to people I disagree with... which is another problem of the dangerously censorious liberal "left".

My take: Carolyn was referring to the current Republican party and not the small "r" republican voter, though under Trump's direction, there has been plenty of bullying of the long list of citizens Trump rejects as inferior. Hate crimes against minorities have risen considerably under Trump, so much so that such terms as "Karen" have been identified, for example, when white people have called police on black people simply for living their lives.: walking down the street, living in their (too expensive to be their) homes (says "Karen", for picnicking, for swimming, for going to the store... Trump brings out the darkest of our natures and applauds it

You're not the only one. When I was listening to this part, I was thinking whaat? that actually is not automatically true, cause I am not like that. I actually am aware others are analyzing me as I am analyzing them. I love her wisdom and speech, but there are things that don't apply to me from the objective point of view. Some of them are truth as she described them meanwhile I try to be really honest with myself, but not in everything. However I consider her interesting and wise woman, for sure.

Carolyn, YOUR form of Christianity might be all about suffering and payback, but Christianity is not about suffering and payback. I am agnostic and I’m surrounded by all kinds of Christians. Most of them are joyful and forgiving people. They believe in mercy and kindness. They also believe judgement is in God’s hands, not theirs. There are, however, people who believe in suffering and payback. You only have to glance towards the political left to see it in full view. Communism is about suffering and payback. Critical race theory is all about suffering and payback. The green new deal is about suffering and payback. Antics, with all their violence on everyone especially the weak like old people and women toting children, are about suffering and payback. Most mainstream journalists are about suffering and payback. What is payback? REVENGE. I don’t know what forms of Christianity you are following, but that is not what I experience from the Christians I have known. The Christians I know work to alleviate the suffering of others. Personally, I think you are projecting something within yourself upon these people. I think you need to meditate on and rethink what you said about Christians.

We know how to spot a seedling
We know what to build with what
We know soft wood burns faster than hardwood
We know the lye from the ash from hardwood makes better soap
We know a seed germinates better when it's been through the necessary seasons
We know it's fun to rake-up and jump into a pe of leaves
