this is 100% what I needed to hear. trying to learn this game during a pandemic is hard, every1 online is so damn good that I just get stomped, its tough to work on my mistakes cuz the level difference is so high. and locals are dead atm. but thanks for the video !
Great advice. This game is so god damn fun win or lose. Funny enough, I oddly and specifically remember your username and Haehyun as one of the first people I played against when I started GG, and the slaughter inspired me to motivation to be able to compete with mid to high level players pushed me to keep at it and even join my local fgc.
Good vid. I played all previous GG games & just got Rev2. I've never found a local community that plays Arc games in the SF Bay Area (that I could get to). Have found some people that played Street Fighter & Marvel (did a little of that). I miss being able to play vs people in arcades whenever. Guess there's New Challenger Discord for finding people & getting tips though.
Nice. As long time Guilty Gear and Blazblue(and fighting games in general) fan, I completely agree. the focus should be on the fun. I think the Lore is fan and most importantly, I found the games fun as hell too.
Great video, I'm a beginner/intermediate player and I share this philosophy about having fun, I joined a Discord group with equal/higher skill level players and its been a blast! I'll try checking out for my local scene ^^
Really good video! i just don't see a way to remember all of my charecters attacks like beta blade gamma blade the wall shuriken and all of those and i can't really remember or do any combos
I wish I had a local scene lol I live in Accra, Ghana lol the only ppl i get to play are my friends online on ps4 but I'm really enjoying my time with the game thus far. I'm a fighting game fanatic but this is the deepest I've gotten into GG even tho I've played some of the others I never really understood as I do now.
If you're up for it, you can start your own local scene! It only takes two people and a place to play to get started. PS4 netplay is a fine place to cut your teeth, but I can't stress how important regular locals are to improve at a fighting game. Our locals in Dallas, Texas don't regularly feature Guilty Gear as much anymore and are mostly UNIST and people playing card games, but I still attend every now and then because it's fun.

Just got this game on Steam two days ago, getting stomped online but having a blast - this game is tons of fun. Great video man!
This man speaks da truth that Fighting games are much funner in a room filled with others.

This was my favorite motivational video for the day

Practice! Practice practice practice. Training mode, combo mode, fight the AI. And then practice some more.
@@Voguekun THATS A LOTTA PRACTICE. Thx for the advice though
I picked it up during black friday. Funny thing is, I found Kum interesting. Now how to figure out how to use him lol

Vogue kun same for me, I live in the UK but in a small village area so there are no locals for me to attend for guilty gear or tekken sadly.
Well this was incredibly vague.
