the truth about mcnuggs is that theyre delicious
The truth is this: mcdonalds (in canada at least) has decreased the size of their nuggets secretly by 10 or 15%. Its noticeable to me but to many it may go unnoticed which is what they were hoping for. A 10% decrease in size sounds small but if u calculate the millions of nuggets they sell per day or week it adds up to millions of dollars. I feel cheated now and find myself very hesitant to order nuggets again which is a shame because i love them

At this point the only thing that would surprise me about McDonald's Chicken McNuggets would be finding out that they are actually made from free range chickens with no artificial preservatives, growth hormones or steroids. They also live long happy lives with other chickens and are never beaten, abused or mutilated in any way.

Chicken nuggets are amazing. They allow us to use parts of the chicken we wouldn't normally eat, which is great from a waste standpoint. It's no different than a hot dog, pate, terrine, or any processed meat.
Also they taste awesome and are cheap. Win win! Screw you Mashed for trying to make us believe everything is awful!

Im from Germany and theres two fun things
1) The Company Iglo makes nuggets for athome similair in taste and look to the Mcdonalds nuggets (im 100% sure its on purpose to get all the kids and nuggetfans)
2) the company Develey which makes the sauces for Mcdonalds Germany also sells them under their own name to supermarkets (except the secret bigmac sauce) i could get my nuggets athome with sweet sour, curry or bbq and that in larger amounts and cheaper 😛
Chick-fil-a hand breads every piece of chicken. I’ve seen it done. It’s crazy how much work goes into it.

I worked at a chick fil a and can happily report that they actually hand cut and fry the chicken nuggets and also chicken sandwich
I worked at McDonald’s and all it was is Using premade frozen food then putting it in fryers or dropping it on the grill then apply the overhead press
This was in 2015/16 it’s probably the same.

One time my sister was eating McDonald's chicken nuggets when she bit into a nugget that had a feather in it. We new then it was real chicken. But it took her years to ever try them again.

As a kid, we didn’t know that Fast Food & McD’s in particular was so unhealthy.
My older brother ALWAYS would lambast the Hamburger and get a 5-piece Chicken Nugget Meal.
But, as we found out during the early 2000s from a lawsuit against McDonald’s & the film Super Size Me, that Nuggets are possibly the most unnatural, called “A McFrankenstein creation of ingredients not utilized by the home cook,” by the presiding Judge, mostly stuff I couldn’t spell or pronounce without looking it up.
Reality, all fast food is bad because of high concentrations of Salt, Fat and Sugars. But chemicals like BHT, TBHQ & BP-A are all over the McDonalds (and most other fast food joint’s) menu.
As for the athletes, it’s a different story when you’re burning 20,000-50,000 calories a day. But it’s definitely not good long term for the kidneys and liver.

I used to have a coworker who would refuse to eat chicken nuggets (not just McDonalds - all chicken nuggets) because “there’s no part of a chicken that’s nugget shaped”. They said that means the chicken is fake. I explained that it’s GROUND UP parts of chicken that would normally be waste to which they said “eew, good thing I don’t eat it!”
She then proceeded to eat the end of the day hotdogs we got for free as staff. You heard that right, a HOT DOG. What part of the cow looks like a hot dog?

The McDonalds food ingredients here in the UK is pretty much guaranteed to be what McDonalds say is in their food (mainly due to EU food regulations, which we will still use after Brexit). There is still controversial moments over here though, such as the horse meat scandal and the KFC with no chicken because they use DHL as their courier.
