Very nice! You are lucky you live in a country with plenty of RC venues.
Hey David, that was amazing! What an awesome place for RC fans and so glad you took the time to film for us all 🙌🏻
Thanks for watching! It certainly is an amazing place for RC enthusiasts! 👍
Very nice! I've never been to Tsukuba for any reason. Might have to visit if I ever get back to Japan.
Super rc park!!! ❤❤❤
Totally awesome ❤
Oh wow! Did your wife have to drag you back to the car? I know I would want to stay there! LOL! The cars look really good out on the big carpet track! I love the huge drift track too! I would spend a ton of money to have a couple nice drift cars if I had a track like that nearby! Thanks for taking us along on the trip. Very cool stuff!
My wife and I were on a sightseeing trip to the east of Japan and she suggested we stop by Tsukuba RC Park as she knew I had always wanted to go! 😊 She was happy to help out filming indoors in the air conditioned arena, but outside in the midday sun, I it was a different matter. It was hot, humid and dusty! 🥵 I shot a few laps of the Dirt Master and then both of us wasted no time in getting back indoors! 😅
Hi David!
Thank you very much yesterday .
Tsukuba RC park, I sometimes go there .
I hope see you soon!
Thank you! ☺️
Wow what a cool place.. :) thanks for creating the vid David.. Pete
Yes, I would probably spend just about every weekend there if it was a little closer! 😅
Looks so good 👌🏻
Thank you!
Tthanks David fan of your vids
Thanks!
I'm very jealous!
It's a great place! Such a shame that road tolls make it so expensive to get there! 😩
Hello David. I’m visiting Tokyo next February and that’s a place I’d like to discover. I’ll have to find out is there is any option going with public transport. Thanks for showing us around.
By car, it's about an hour or so from central Tokyo. There is a train, the Tsukuba Express that'll take you from Tokyo to the nearest station "Midori no eki" みどりの駅. Then it's a short taxi ride.
Thanks David. I’ll check that option out for my next trip. Cheers for the tip.
Wow, that looks like an amazing facility! Do you pay a single fee to use all the different tracks or is each track a separate charge?
You pay a single fee to use all the tracks! Although I believe to use the rental RC's in the "RC Land" area require a separate fee. Yokomo include a free day ticket with all their kits, so my first day there was essentially free! 👍
What a fantastic place! Interested to find out how high those expressway charges are!
From my place it's a 2.5 hour drive through Tokyo and the tolls total around ¥11,000 round trip. That works out to be about £61 or $73. Add to that fuel, which is cheaper than the UK, but more expensive than the US.
My local track, in contrast, costs nothing in expressway fees and only takes 25 minutes to get there. 👍
@@KaiCityRC wow, I see why the cost is prohibitive! Thanks David
That is an awesome tour... how did your Genova buggy handle the indoor off road course?
Really well! 👍 Both the Genova and my YZ-2 are running a 17.5T brushless set up and although the mid motor Yokomo was faster, the Genova held its own. The more I drive it the more I like it!
After numerous track days and plenty of crashes nothing has broken so far. I did replace the stock springs with some stiffer ones for carpet, and it runs carpet spec tires. But other than that, it’s completely stock. 👍
