- It's almost time to put this girl on the road, the deadline to have it finished is the third week of March I'm going to ride it in my wedding. So it's got to be done, look forward to some videos on this bike in the near future including a arms, rear brake system, possibly a nose mount wiring harness and a few other things.

Can't wait to get a banshee. Rebuilding my cr 250 first. First time throwing in a new crank in it. This summer I might try to pick up a banshee if it's a good deal.

I honestly would love a banshee, my dad had a couple. It's just maintenance and rebuilds kill it for me. I just want something that will go like 3 years without a rebuild

Nice quad dude Only thing I would do is make the Axel's wider good to see a stock banchee the proper Yamaha stickers I would of drained the fuel & oil & changed the spark plugs & filters be for I started it after lying that long it's all things that will have to be done anyway

If you at the newer videos, I now have a long travels up front and for now it has Tusk hubs. I do plan to go with a nice axle

Hey I love your videos, and was just wondering, if I do a timing plate mod at 4 degrees and add boysen reeds, would I have to change my jetting and would I have to run race gas, I live in California and I can only get 91 octane from the pump. The mods I currently have are t5 exhaust k and n air intake and tors delete. Thank you and keep up the great work.

No you should be fine, if your under 160psi you can do it and never look back
South Texas Banshee would suggest using Boyesen 645 Power Reed these are the ones I have picked out, or should I wait and save the money to buy v force reeds?

You can run those, jetting shouldn't change any but I always like to do a quick plug chop to make sure. It can't hurt anything.
I run 20cc domes at sea level, I'm at 169 psi. 4 years on that engine at 5° on pump gas with no ill effects.

I have 2 other banshees and one I'm building. so I don't have to ride it, I will soon though. put a lot of money into it so I wanna keep it looking nice for a long long time.
What do you do if you floats ain’t holding and leaking
To switch to pods is it easy as it seems just take air box off and put the pods on ?

super nice banshee....when i pull my choke out fuel just starts flowing everywhere...any idea what the problem could be ?

i just bought a atv cover at a mini bike shop for 45$ cad and problem solved :)

Yep, gonna buy me an ice Yamaha cover for it. I just orders the long travels last night, it'll be 100% done soon. Also ordered a new Yamaha kicker, all new castle nuts, rear master, caliper and all the brake switches.

Hey man I got a used set of carbs but there not stock jets my banshee is all stock stock exhaust but it has k&n style filters on the carb my elevation is 413 feet but what size jet would you think it need thanks the one in the carbs now is a 310
Btw it has the 2 k&n style air filters they sit right on the carbs

If you had pipes you would be really close with 310's. Being you have stock I'm not sure exactly where you'd need to be. I've never jetted that combo before. You need to plug chop it the way it is n see what the plug tell you

South Texas Banshee the top of the engine when you're putting the cases back together mine never came with any screws only one nut for the bottom
