Never traveled for more then 2 weeks. But now i am travelling for whole 2022, visited Sri Lanka, Turkey, Serbia, Montenegro, France, Holland, Germany, Switzeland. How it did? I was forced by the war in Ukraine....i was not able to return home, but having a remote IT job. So i've looked on this situation from a different angle, since my family with me and i dont want to emigrate....then i will travel. Mine budget was somewhere around 2.5-3k$ for me, wife, son (10yo). So I was also able to help relatives, who are in Ukraine. The key of this is a big luck (i was in a trip when war started, so I've decided to postpone my returning) and IT job(it gives you remotelly pretty good money).

And that puts me infront of tow choises. The one is giving the pity party and crying for my sealf saying why. Why i was porn in syria and someone else in netherlan or canada or usa. Why i sould worry about my family lives at the same time some one is having fun with his. And there are so many whys to say if I want. AND the second choise IS WHAT I NEED YOU TO HELP ME FUGHER OUT.

Obviously you made the right decision "wasting" money on travel, but don't even think about it, you invested in your personal growth/development, in your life experience, in adding value to your journey, in collecting memories, in creating lifelong assets (not physical or digital ones but rather mental/psychological ones) that will stay with you for the rest of your life, regardless of how much it cost, because unless your lose a major part of your equity/net worth or become a broke homeless person as a result, these expenses won't really hurt you (money comes and goes, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, no cry over spilled milk etc), my point is you wanna spend and enjoy your hard earned money while you can, better now than later/never (no pressure), it's only tonight that I came across your channel but feels like I know you a decade maybe cause your videos being so well put together and you telling your story in such a humble and humane way, I don't write comments but had to this time, sorry for the long comment I'm sure 100% you don't really need this advice but couldn't help but share my thoughts, by the way your the most beautiful person I seen in a while both externally and internally, your girlfriend/future wife is the luckiest woman on earth, keep on having the best time of your life and look forward to seeing more of you and your journey, peace!
