@potatos its not fake, we test on frankfurt to mannheim autobahn, its plain flat. Go test yourself with audi a5 50 tdi and after you can tell me if its fake. Why should we faking it? If we do fake every video so we will loose subscribers. Did we fake on previous video with dodge charger srt8 fuel consumption test? It was high at high speed, so no fake. Audi a5 has good aerodynamics than wagon or suv because its flat shape body and low rpm at high speed and its diesel so that cause low fuel consumption

@@darylyatestransportblogs Just make sure you buy it for long drives. if you drive around in a small town, this is the worst possible engine you can get outside of ford engines. You should pick the gasoline version, altho they are notorious for expensive repairs due to the supercharger placement.
@@kevinpedersen5290 Yep too many people buy diesels but only use them in town so the DPF gets clogged they need to be driven for long distances really to get the most of the lower fuel consumption.

top speed is 250 and 0-100 is not close to 4,95 , those are just the speedometer readings and the ones from Audi they lie soooo much
@@carlosnunezfernandez3384 yeah speedometers are not always accurate, but generally there is a 10 km/h bias so 267(limited) will be more or less 255 which is fast. Regarding 0-100 I think that even if the real time could be worse than 4.95, the question is: how much can it be worse? Even a 5.1 or 5.2 is still more than good.
@@carlosnunezfernandez3384 We know Audi, VW, Skoda have about 5% error from the speed displayed. 105 might be the real 100kmh. So, real 100 might be around 5,1.
@@carlosnunezfernandez3384 I got my audi chipped and a K&N filter, went from stock 250 to 300hk (measured on AWD field) and with gps tracker it went from 5.6s to 4.8s 0-100.
The thing about these tdi's is that the power is delivered from 0-80, so when you drag race, you'll easily yeet from a C43 in a stock audi A5 3.0, but he will catch you in the last bit due to the inherent flaw of diesel engines gearing.
4.95s seems plausible if it's 286ps which is about 280 bhp. Delivered through quattro in a dry weather.
I do enjoy people whom don't own the car, hasn't driven it, yet thinks they know what is right and what is wrong.
Also, make sure you get MyAudi installed if you don't get it from the dealer. I had a mechanic "test drive" mine and was able to show him evidence through the app. (He was driving well past the speedlimit and multiple warnings of excessive acceleration) Never touching ghetto mechanics again.

Beautiful, especially in the coupe version. Love the analogic cluster and engine seems great, nice fuel consumption and lots of torque
it's a hatchback mate, the 4-door version is great enough even the gf/wife will approve of the purchase.

Don’t see the interest btw that and an a4 , would prefer to buy an a4 then a 4 door a5
and with an ECU update which removes limiters on the injectors and speed limiter, it will go 275+ without any other modification.
I got one myself, absolutely amazing engine. Just keep in mind that it's probably best to keep it stock. Since chipping it will damage the injectors in the long run on these diesel engines, and they cost 500 euros each to replace (replacing 6 of them at a time).

It's optional, I agree it's weird they didn't pick it, since it's a 2500 euro OEM install so would've been cheaper to get it installed from the factory.

Thank you for your videos! It's a nice format. Can you tell me how much ground clearance does this Audi A5 have? Given that you have driven the Audi A4 many times, is there a big difference in ride, comfort, especially on the rear seat radius due to the sloped coupe roof of the A5?
Germans still make 300hp diesel engines while other manufacturers don't offer them anymore, or some still make 130hp mini three cylinder engines,lol.

Is there still a huge delay from the gearbox like in older models? Or did they fix it with an update?
What kind of delay are you refering to? The gearbox in the quattro A5's don't get much quicker unless you break the laws of physics. Make sure you realize this is a quattro, so it has the steptronic (or DSG if that makes it easier to understand) and not the fakery that the non-quattros get.
@@kevinpedersen5290 I refer to the delay from a standstill. After the Diesel-Gate the 3.0 TDI got reworked (because of emissions) and the result was an awful Turbolag-like delay from a standstill. You can also look it up on the Internet.
@@kevinpedersen5290 you are wrong , this is a Tiptronic 8speed torque convertor gearbox not a DSG ( DUAL clutch 7speed which is S-tronic).
It is slower but more reliable than the DSG or S tronic.
Does anyone know how to tell if your car has quattro ultra(clutch pack) or quattro(torsen).... What the visible difference is?

The S Class is a bigger car a better comparison would be with the C Class coupe but Mercedes don’t do a 6 cylinder for it

how to order that car with this engine 3.0 V6 TDI. On Polish or Deutsch website there is no that type of engine - only 2.0 V4???
after 2023 its not availble in A4 and A5, because of restrictions

This is better choice then stupid EV or hybrids because they are terribly at highway speeds with consumption

This car has been remap.. Both for performance and fuel consumption which is lower than the 2 litres diesel!!

My 45tfsi gasoline 2liter 261hp/276lbs.ft will do 5.3s-5.7s.... That is not for off... the torque on those diesel engines (480lbs.ft) makes it so much better...
