that is by far one of the best suits ive seen yet in terms of proportion and detail! now all you need is to line the interior with some padding for a snugger fit! but anyway great job :D
the back of the hands would probably stay on a lot better with 2 large poppers. I bet if you mounted metal poppers on the underside of the armor and the outside of the motorcycle jacked the arms would stay on with the jacket for easeyer dress up/down.
hey im from the 405th and thats where adam is from too. The armour is basicly plated with resin and fibreglass so it is extremely tough and can be used in airsoft just thats not what most of us do.
dude adam just put this tut on youtube as a guide for people he gives his armour to. he probably never checks it. its just a link on the 405th, which he's the founder of. Adam is a great man and has a whole community to run so if you have any questions just check out the 405th. theres all the info you need.

He molded it off a statue... I had one imported when Halo 2 came out and actually got some of Adams cast to compare. It's the same. He definitely went to the trouble of getting enough smoothon to mold the suit, but it is cast off the statue. All of the marine armor stuff and the ODST is original by Adam however.
It'd probably cost almost as much for the materials to make one. Unless the maker in question is very, very, VERY resourceful... "This is my MJOLNIR armor; I made it out of curtains and plastic bags!" XD
they should make a few real, with kevlar material and then kevlar or bullet proof plates or what ever they used prop would be heavy and expensive though

i would say the chest piece and the torso is the longest cause i built my odst helmet in 45 min and then pepakura finally came out with ODST stuff so i am now waiting on the MC suit and making the odst suit for the midnight release of ODST i will have some friends recording so i will post it on youtube the next day.

i would give anything to have one that i could be kinda rough in. like for an airsoft war. just show up, nobody knows who you are, but you look totally sick because you're the master chief. what would be even more sweet is if you had magnets in the back to hold your gun! although the suit would probably need to be some type of metal to endure the running, diving, crashing, and bbs hitting it. and you would need an appropriately rated visor to ensure safety. gah im dreaming again!!!

for the hand piece i think if you attach it to the guantlet piece on the inside the have the velcrow and and finger straps they wont fall off as easy

just started on the helmet useing the pepekura method I HATE CUTING PAPER SO BAD!!!!!!!! but its woth it.
