Assalamu alaykum brother! We need your help to raise awareness about the hijab ban in Tajikistan 🇹🇯. The government has banned wearing the hijab, and they are fining and arresting women who wear it on the streets. They have been trying for a long time to secularize the public and make them less religious. Men under 18 are not allowed to go to the mosque, teaching Tajweed is illegal, and men are not allowed to have beards. They imprison anyone who speaks out, and we don’t know what to do. Please pray for us and help spread the word!

There are several groups on FB and telegram with sisters, some hijabis
some not, but a lot of them shared their "love/sex/ affairs with females and/or males, and most of them are married. It's sad and disturbing how prevelant this behavior actually is among the ummah. Sadly, some of them say their husbands are doing the same thing outside of marriage. The best thing to do is to block and stay away from this sort of group or environment. I wanted to learn about Islam since the groups description are about deem and so forth but somehow the conversations always always turn into sexual content, almost always begins with the topic of importance of intimacy rights and from there it seems to go rouge! Crazy! Astafirullah. Just block block block and do your best not to place in situations of any kind that may lead to haram ways. Also I think bad boy syndrome it's actually males with severe insecurities and most likely some sort of sexual or emotional trauma and propense to abusive behaviors so sister stay clear of them. May Allah protect us! Alhamdulliah

If these sisters are struggling with ssa then it's their responsibility to get off the internet, at the very least delete Instagram and tiktok. I'm not defending this girl who's clearly making haram content, but the fact remains that it isn't somebody else's job to make you feel comfortable online. The internet isn't a safe space and if you can't handle it its on you to leave and protect your iman.

Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh, Jazak Allahu Khair Br. Gabriel and the other brother, my apologies, I forgot the name.
I will say this, many of us South Asian women, (disclaimer, NOT ALL), but too many of us have been exposed to fathers who were either abusive to our mothers or both our mothers and ourselves. Yes, of course there are crazy, abusive mothers as well. Cultures such as ours can be pretty misogynistic. As a result, our young women end up hating men, they want to be strong and independent because they have seen how they have been treated by their parents/relatives versus how they brothers are being treated. Real talk.
Our families are also racist, when a young muslimah want to marry a good brother who's black or latino, the family/relatives want to have a uproar, Subhan'Allah. Come on, people, racism is HARAM! How can our young women not be disgusted by marriage? I know women to took off their hijabs because they blame Islam for their parents/relatives' racism towards the good brothers they chose to marry.
I get complaints from young South Asian women about what they experience and it's heartbreaking. Subhan'Allah. Apologies for all this writing, I'm just very passionate about this subject. I want better marriages, better families in our Ummah in'sha'Allah.
May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala provide the real solutions to the real problems as Br. Gabriel talks about. Aameen

100% agree in South asian culture extreme misogyny is wide spread as is domestic violence and many of our mother's couldn't get a divorce because they had little to no education and totally depende financially on their husbands had no way out. Result is my generation doing everything in our power to not end up like our mother's by excelling in education and being financially independence. Despite this many are not marrying and choosing to stay single I think due to childhood trauma.
