The problem was, that his target was fixed in position. Your target could swing, bend and this way absorb the energy of the toothpick. You would make it faster shootong on a static target.

Be sure 'tooth pick' them up, i once stepped on some carpet and cought one in between my big and pointer toes. Broke off about 3 inches deep. Hurt like no other, went to the doctor they couldnt see it on the xray, they cant see wood. Took a 7 inch needle in the foot no meds, that was probalby the worst dull pain ever. Got unlucky with a new doctor who couldnt find it for like an hour just digging around in there like i was an operation game. Nurse came in got it out in 10 seconds, was about and inch long and had aloy of my meat on it. They let me keep it.
I love internet, without it i wouldn't know all the crazy shits that happen to random people around the world! haha I'm so sorry for your pain but i laugh so hard, like it's so fucking random: if this random guy didnt make a random video about throwing thoothpick how the world would have none the amazing toothpick story of "Jesse the third"!
