The multiple buildings are Walthers Merchants Row 1 and the one with the "chainsawed" rear is Merchants Row 3. Originally, that building was manufactured in the early 70s by Heljan/ConCor as the "Bank Block." I assume Walthers at one point bought the tooling and repackaged it. As to why someone would hack up the back, my best guess is that it was intended to be placed against a backdrop but there was not enough space on the person's layout to accommodate the whole width of the structure. Anyway, nice refurbishing job!
