Nice build! Slowly turning my Taco into this. I’m debating about the bed rack because I have a cover for it. I’m not over landing person but I like that I could have jugs or shovels on the side. That would be mean I would have to get rid of my bed cover for the bed rack. Unless, I get a roof rack system and add stuff there
Thank you! I had a bed cover a long time ago as well but it wasn't ideal for me. Check out KB Voodoo they make bed rack that are compatible with bed covers!
I didn't end up doing mine myself as it was offered to me last minute when they did my CMC chop but I have seen a lot of other video online that share how to do it. Looks like it just takes time and measuring. Thank you! Always a build in progress just slow and steady.
They aren't when they are in use - but when on the truck for daily driving they are far less likely to be swooped by petty folks when they are tightened up.
Clean build. I feel the same way with high mounted RTT’s. That’s why my rack is a 10’ rack. Great approach on the items. I wanted to make sure all the things I put on my rig would be used at least 6-12 / month 😂
Definitely and thank you! If I dont touch or use something for at least 6 months I usually think of better ways I could use it or just live and learn and have to sell it since I have no garage.
Haha they are from Avid Off-Road a small shop out of AZ looks like there are non in stock but their team is quick so I'm sure you can contact them to make some of you if you wanted. Shipping wasn't too bad either - avidoffroad.com/site/product-category/3rd-gen-taco/3rd-gen-sliders/

when pulling with bow shackles, the pin should never be fully "tight". Look it up, they should be backed off a bit.

Did you cut the bumper yourself? Might need to do that on my GX
I did not - I don't trust myself with a circle saw on my truck to get it to match on both sides but it sure looks good after the fact.
The smoked raptor lights are nice where did you get them?
Thanks! I got mine at runnin4tacos you just need to select smoked amber on the product page.
What a beautiful build man............. wish i was you
Dont say that haha it took a very VERY long time to get to this point.
