pretty impressive isn't it. nice light sanding with 300/400/1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper with water will do that for you too... takes about a half hour per light though. then you can spray some clear coast from a can on them lightly and they'll stay looking nice for a couple of years.
@@lylestavast7652 I used toothpaste and a toothbrush on my old car's headlights after watching a youtube video and that kinda worked but it didn't last too long. Dishwashing paste (Jif?) Was also tried at one point and this lasted a little longer but nothing beats the method in the video or what you've just suggested.
Being sort of OCD, I love hearing his voice. Not only is he detailing so thoroughly, but the voice is soothing. I relaxes me. I watch some of his videos one after the other.

I've had the idea to try and start a detailing business myself for about 2 years now but watching these videos recently has really pushed me to actually want to start on something not just think about it.

:-) :-) Was thinking the exact same thing hahahaha!!!! Although he has mentioned before that some of the more encompassing details took some 10-12-14 hours to do, so even a 1-2-hour long video may not do justice to the labor he's putting into these vehicles. Still, I'd be definitely up for long vids!

He uses the steamer with a microfiber cloth wrapped around it. He just said you have to be quick and careful because it can loosen up the cieling glue.
Headliners in any vehicle are SUUUUPER tricky. You need to be really careful on what to use and how to do it. One wrong move, and you’ll end up ruining the adhesive, causing it to sag and look terrible.

@@neji5163 Not really. They can scratch it but so can improper hand wash. Almost every type of wash will scratch your car, no matter how careful you are. New car with perfect paint = careful hand wash. Old car with workout,cratched and rusty paint = everything is good but still you should be careful if you like the car.
I'd expect the dislikes are the ones who are reminded of the 2 dozen escaped fries, 15 dollars in loose change and potential bacterial nasties that are known to reside under their front seats but are to lazy to do anything about it.
Seriously just haters, even if you don’t care for the video you can just move on cause there’s nothing he does that would deserve a dislike lol he’s not annoying, doesn’t copy, has good editing/recording skill
An amazing job done. I had no idea there were so many tricks to cleaning the inside and outside of a car. I am very impressed. Thankyou for including the owners reaction. She was one happy customer among many.
You need to do a version of these videos with a slightly darkened tint, quieter commentary and calming music. Your videos are so relaxing already, with those little adjustments, they could be prescribed as medicine for people with insomnia. Watching something go from dirty and disgusting to clean and beautiful is so soothing, I love watching these when I'm trying to fall asleep. They're amazingly calming.
The smell of that thing before must have been hideous, too. Old food, stains of lord knows what, probably a few sacrificed chickens. The after smell would be glorious.
Something I learned the hard way on my Yukon’s headlights is that compounding/buffing them makes them worse after a month or so. It completely strips off the already damage UV sealant from the factory (if you’ve ever walked past a pair of new headlights with polarized glasses on that’s the rainbow color you see). If you want to compound or wet sand your own headlights, make sure to buy some UV sealant wipes off amazon or from autozone. Unfortunately these only prolong the life of your headlights for 3-4 months before it starts fading again. What I 100% recommend is replacing the headlights with new ones yourself- it totally increases your visibility and car’s value by hundreds $$$ Love watching your videos! I’ve bought a lot of the cleaning products you recommend and love them.

Unfortunately, polishers aren't cheap. The Rupes that Mitch uses costs about $430. Then the microfiber cutting pads go for another $20 or so.

Headliners in any vehicle are SUUUUPER tricky. You need to be really careful on what to use and how to do it. One wrong move, and you’ll end up ruining the adhesive, causing it to sag and look terrible.

@@neji5163 Not really. They can scratch it but so can improper hand wash. Almost every type of wash will scratch your car, no matter how careful you are. New car with perfect paint = careful hand wash.
Old car with workout,cratched and rusty paint = everything is good but still you should be careful if you like the car.
I'd expect the dislikes are the ones who are reminded of the 2 dozen escaped fries, 15 dollars in loose change and potential bacterial nasties that are known to reside under their front seats but are to lazy to do anything about it.

You need to do a version of these videos with a slightly darkened tint, quieter commentary and calming music. Your videos are so relaxing already, with those little adjustments, they could be prescribed as medicine for people with insomnia. Watching something go from dirty and disgusting to clean and beautiful is so soothing, I love watching these when I'm trying to fall asleep. They're amazingly calming.

He recently started using the ozone device and that helps a little with the smell. I would like to he use the device in every car before delivery.
The smell of that thing before must have been hideous, too. Old food, stains of lord knows what, probably a few sacrificed chickens. The after smell would be glorious.

Something I learned the hard way on my Yukon’s headlights is that compounding/buffing them makes them worse after a month or so. It completely strips off the already damage UV sealant from the factory (if you’ve ever walked past a pair of new headlights with polarized glasses on that’s the rainbow color you see). If you want to compound or wet sand your own headlights, make sure to buy some UV sealant wipes off amazon or from autozone. Unfortunately these only prolong the life of your headlights for 3-4 months before it starts fading again. What I 100% recommend is replacing the headlights with new ones yourself- it totally increases your visibility and car’s value by hundreds $$$ Love watching your videos! I’ve bought a lot of the cleaning products you recommend and love them.
