nice speedrun! didn't think this game could be done less than one and half hour LOL I'm playing with level 6 speedrun just for fun and I'm always going to get backpack to use another cursed ring at 10-2-2 iirc (maybe slower for normal any% run) btw I'm sure someone chatted ankoku as 暗黒 is correct since I'm Japanese :p
Pretty sure over the next few days, whenever I get around learning actual strategies for fights, it'll be sub 1:25. Also as this is PC a load remover will soon be in place, though I guess it doesn't change anything about the Real Time. In my Lv6 run (Took me 4 hours, still gotta upload it) I grabbed the Cursed Ring in 10-1-2 as well for extra stats, ye^^ Also thanks for the tip on japanese, been trying to learn it recently and learning new words is always nice :D
@@desa35 I'm really bad at finding route for any% since I can't memories how materia fusion works sadly hope to watch you (or someone) get sub 1'20 someday
@@arms08yuki84 You can use resources found online to route Materia Fusion, I did that for the longest time with the original version as well Sub 1:20 would be crazy but probably possible soon
I didn't realize how short the game was if you don't do every available side mission lmaoooo cool speedrun but just curious why do you stop after the genesis fight and not the last stand?
Even then, Reunion just plays much faster than the original. I tried a run where I used an emulator and turbo function for the cutscenes and it took me slightly over 1:40h so my initial guess for Reunion was 1:30 max. But now we're already sub 1:20

Because after the Genesis fight there's nothing you do anymore, you can just put the controller down and wait

Tbh the only reason the game takes long to speedrun is because of the unskippable cutscenes in the original
