I've decided to start a new coin roll hunting series to see how many bank boxes it takes to fill an entire Dansco Album for Nickels dated 1938-1999. There are 138 slots to fill and although I already have an entire nickel coin collection, I did not keep track of the number of boxes it took to complete the set, which I completed through coin roll hunting nickels. This is part 34 of the new series (boxes 52 and 53) and I do plan on updating it from each nickel box I hunt from this point forward until the nickel coin collection is completed! It may be a little tougher due to the sheer amount of uncirculated nickel boxes we keep getting but I will keep trying! Nickel Hunt and Fill Video Playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLknd43YfQfvatkKslmfwphJRQ5OBXb5Rz.html FYI - The Dansco Album does not have spots for some coins but we'll be hunting these boxes of nickels for Silver Nickels, Buffalo Nickels, Proof coins, Old Jefferson Nickels (namely semi-key and key date nickels), Liberty V Nickels and 2009's for their low mintage. Let's keep our fingers crossed and our eyes open for some valuable Nickels! Keep hunting and good luck! They're still out there for us to find! Want to become a Channel Member? @@themanonthesilvermountain3951 well thats what i was expecting. last nickel box i found a 1935 S buffalo and the box before that i found a 1909 V nickel
When I filled my first nickel album, the hardest one was 1944-D. Found my 1950-D at a small branch of my bank in Woburn, MA, around 100 boxes into my hunt. It's pretty worn, but it's my only 50-D, so I was stoked to find it. That was 4 years ago. Working on my 2nd album now. My oldest roll hunted nickel is an 1883 No Cents V nickel. Have found only 2 V nickels in 150+ boxes. And to be honest, one was found in a loose bank roll from my supermarket. It wasn't a customer roll, though. My best find was a high grade 1918 buffalo. ☺👍
I recently purchased a few sets of nickels and between them I had a lot of war years all years plus a v nickels and quite a handful of buffalo or as you call them a herd
You kinda threw me at the beginning of the video, you said a couple times “2 reasons to get excited” and you only need to fill 2 slots. Great video!!!!!!!!
I found a 1961 D Jefferson with 6 BEAUTIFUL FULL STEPS I checked pcgs price guide, only 6 others currently are graded 😳 if anyone has tips on how to correctly ship it and keep it safe it would be appreciated
another great video! Could you maybe do a video about where/how to get coins, supplies you would need, proper edict if any? Not sure if you already did one in the past but that would be helpful to a new coin hunter. take care, from Canada
Not surprised by that 1943-P. Of my 8, I have 3 of that mint. Went through my nickels yesterday, and added a semi key date to my collection from my hang onto bin with a 1949-S; not in great shape, likely a VF at best, but cool to have.
very nice rob but the 1950D never have found 1 so a week ago may 3 i went to 5 banks to buy coins rolls i don't have account in any of them i get different amount from each so i get home and sort all the rolls separate so i know what i get from which bank and i saw from bank 5 2 nickel enders 1943 n 1944 of 20 rolls so i start hunting quarters from bank 1 but i was thinking about the enders so i start the 2 rolls find 5 war nickels roll 3 2 more war nickel roll 4 nothing roll 5 all the way to 20 it was one or 2 war nickels i lost count the last roll have 4 of them the total 5 1942 war nickels 13 1943 4 1944 and 7 1945 so 29 war nickels in 20 rolls wow
You inspired me to take a moment and hunt a box of nickels. I found two 1936 buffalo nickels, a war nickel, and a 1955-P semi-key date. In addition to those finds, I had 17 nickels from the 1940s and 14 nickels from the 1950s, plus three foreign coins. Wanna hunt a TurdBox in an upcoming episode?

@@Stugs_ Way, they were all pretty rough. Most were dateless.

I recently purchased a few sets of nickels and between them I had a lot of war years all years plus a v nickels and quite a handful of buffalo or as you call them a herd

Can't get mad at some more war nickels and foreigns!

Nostalgia wave!
I got my quarter coin books the other day and since Kansas was on the fold for 1 of the pages they printed 2 S’s
Can’t get mad at 4 war nickels! It’s like blood for the jar!
My box today had 7 buffaloes 🤑. A new record for me.
You kinda threw me at the beginning of the video, you said a couple times “2 reasons to get excited” and you only need to fill 2 slots. Great video!!!!!!!!
I'm from Philippines can't get mad at that😄😄

Ah yes, I remember that intro. Awesome hunt!
Man, that was a JUICY 2 box hunt!

Minnesota! Insane, great job Rob
What a great hunt. Lots of finds. That was really fun to watch
I’m closing your lead bud!!! 9 spots left, most are key or semi but still getting closer. Thanks for the few error/variety checks.
Awesome series and Congrats on finding SILVER. Can't wait for the next video.
Cool!
If you find any earlier minter proof Philadelphia nickels, would you use them to upgrade the album?
7:11 i think i see an S
I got one that say no more lies and no more war
well, a nickel collector should fill a few modern holes with your NJ nickels.
Nice to see the old intro again
yes, yes indeed
Wow awesome 👍👍👍
Throwback Intro!
"Hey Mac, gotta nickel?". Quote from an old Bugs Bunny/Elmer Fudd cartoon. (Bugs pockets the nickel instead of making the phone call....)
Epic!!!
One of my favorite series on the Tube! Look forward to each hut.
Love the videos man
I have SO much fun hunting nickels. my fav. coins too hunt :).
Great video Rob! I had my fingers crossed 🤣 loved the intro😄
I found a 1961 D Jefferson with 6 BEAUTIFUL FULL STEPS I checked pcgs price guide, only 6 others currently are graded 😳 if anyone has tips on how to correctly ship it and keep it safe it would be appreciated

4 war nickels ... and a Buffalo . Wow ..
A New Jersey box? Maybe you'll find Jimmy Hoffa?
Almost to 100k
4 war nickles and a buffalo nice
Reminds me of my subway days when I'd open a nickel roll to find a war nickel dump.
another great video! Could you maybe do a video about where/how to get coins, supplies you would need, proper edict if any? Not sure if you already did one in the past but that would be helpful to a new coin hunter. take care, from Canada
Nice to see the retro intro!
I want to drop my extra 43D into circulation for you lol
I just bought one box of nickels from my local bank and got over 100 silver war nickels.
Wassup rob lets go!!!
SILVER? ALOT OF SILVER!!?
Woah, throwback intro!
What’s your opinion on the new 2021 quarters on how they brought back the old style date
its cool that i dont have to look at the back anymore to see a date
Not a fan of new intro but it's nice

Nice hi res. I have a 3440x1440 monitor and it is always nice to see content > 1080p.
I have a 43 D, is it a semi key, or a key date?
Neither. But it’s got its rarity, and it’s hard to find in circulation
