- In this Nock On Podcast I sit down to discuss the new G5 T2 Broadhead. It’s a seriously wicked mechanical head that has been showing some ridiculous results in the field. On the podcast I have part of the team that is responsible for this awesome new head that’s going to make some waves in the industry this fall.
Podcast guest include Nate Grace, Brian Andersen & Jeff Helm

If it passes the Lusk Archery test, I’m in.
The Gold Standard. Lusk does an incredible job 👍
Yea concrete is a great medium to test broadheads. 😂
Do you ever let someone else finish their thoughts, without interrupting?
I wanna hear from John Lusk!
What makes this head better or even different than a rage hypodermic or trypan?
I like the looks of these, G5 needs to make a more swept version with a 1 5/8" cut, like the original rocky mountain snyper!
A regular steel broadhead for $20 each? Why not use a sevr titanium for less?
Sevr is better and the ability for the head to swivel matters
@@eddievannewkirk4458terrible design
Where can we find the footage of the wound channels? and by the way love hearing about the testing and development stages! People really have no concept of what goes into developing a product.
drag below the tip, stretching sking creates very large holes, easy to replicate with 3 blade fixed which create monster holes. minor modifications to montec behind the point creats 3x over 2inch cuts
So what makes this better than the 10-15 year old NAP Killzone? I always prefer the Killzone over the Rage(any style) due to no rattle, clips, bands etc. the Killzone is not perfect (lost a big deer on bad shot this year) but in
Return I have had 4 inch entry holes and watched many many animals fall in sight with the Killzone.
Don’t get me wrong…. G5 is a stand up company. Owned 5 Prime bows, and shot a few of their broadheads and always quality. Guess I will have to buy a pack and see the difference.
Rage hypodermic look alike
MORE JUNK Dudley is pushing.. All about money.. Lost sooooo much respect for this guy !
G5 is American made .please do not say it’s a china junk rage
Dudley is becoming so much of a salesman getting had to believe in
@@kylemacdonell1450 Bows, Arrows, sights, releases, clothing... list goes on. Anything anyones willing to tag his name beside.
@@Millersgunandsupply Assembled in USA is not the same as USA made my friend...
Curious on the blade thickness?
Going to be a good season! Head sounds amazing!
Hard to beat a SEVR made out of titanium.
I’m not much of a mechanical fan, but G5 makes a good product. I don’t remember if anyone said in the video if these lock open?
They didn’t mention it in the podcast, but Dudley on instagram said that these don’t lock open
The boys are back in town
Whats the practice situation here....can you lock the blades or get a dummy head?
Anything Dudley touches turns to gold, He sells $200 carter releases with a nock on badge and green anodized finish for $400. A fool and his money eh 😅
Everyone is switching! There is so much money in Broadheads but when it comes down to it, it’s always who has the best. I just wish these guys were more honest. Meaning why did you support all these other companies so much for years and than end up switching. My thoughts are these other companies didn’t allow them to make changes so they had to go to other companies to get it done.
I love how duds talking shit all over rage mean while he sells them on his own website 😂 personally I've been shooting beast heads and they've been remarkably awesome and scary sharp for a mechanical head just put in order for 2 more dozen so doubt I'll be switching for awhile
It said they are available? But not on your website?
G5 stole the design for the striker from wac em. I knew the owners of wac em and G5 broke that company and told the owners you aren’t big enough to fight us so tough luck. Since then I just can’t bring myself to support g5.
Lies
@@ryank3626 I experienced first hand. If you believe they didn’t you are lying to yourself.
WAC em got bought out and turned to shit like every other company
@@austinphillips9966 I know the original owners and this definitely happened to them. G5 can stick it. I’ll keep shooting Grim Reaper.
@@hunteradamson5024 they’re owned by feradyne outdoors conglomerate group. 💁♂️
We need some trauminator practice heads
Please make a non barbed 3 blade!!
agreed. the deadmeat V2 is still considered barbed in Alaska. I was so hopeful that they change
G5 Montecs are hard to beat they are durable and easy to sharpen. I’ve never used mechanicals but would love to give one of the G5’s a go.
when will it be available?
I was curious to know the same thing. They’re not available on the G5 website yet. I’m sure they’ll be out before season or they wouldn’t be marketing them yet. Maybe, they’ll be for sale at some of the trade shows this summer.
This comments section is pathetic. A businessman going with a company that lets him put his fingerprints on a product he is going to help sale? The horror…all the haters in here can’t shoot half as good as the Olympic shooter talking in this podcast. Don’t like him? Stop watching his stuff. Stop spreading more hate in a community that needs to help each other out. You like a different brand? Great, go support that company. Stop bashing because you hate yourself so much you have to come in here with negative energy.
What thought you were sponsored by rage
If they are better than SEVRS I’m all in!!,
Why? The Mega Meat is so deadly!
G5 broadheads are hard to beat lmo deadmeat mega meats
I love my Deadmeat/megameats
200gr heave vs a 125 with a 75 insert, i take the 125 option every time. better stability, reduction in foc is irrelevant. for big game, normally just an alloy insert for most animals. still use montec they are a very nice head have lots not going to buy untill 10.yrs from now their all non functional
Ima stick with my iron will , QAD and magnus broadheads they can keep these weak mech. heads that for sure fail way to often. I have never had a cut on contact head fail...but good luck with them im sure they will be good for mech. heads just not for me
Dudley is FOR SALE !.. Lost all respect for him once he ROASTED the ranch fairy
Saltee haterrrz
@@lukethomas9879 He just showed his true colors.. Had Ranch fairy on his pod cast and talked down to him like ive never seen.. Douche bag in true form
Bowmar tested the beast head in Africa......... Someone send Dudley to test these
Good one, Dudley doesn't touch anything unless helps his bank account. 😂
I mean I'll take the r version but come on let's put the XXX version up or send it an emails or something. Put a link
Michael Wadel got a deflection on a deer!! Watch his video 😂. Just saying 😮 deadmeat....????
Mega meats are good heads. but trash as far as durability. They are disposable heads at best.
Can u buy replacement blades?
@@jeremietemple6851yes you can. You can put new blades on and keep using the same ferrule.
T-Rex arms...LOL
How much royalty’s y’all paying rage????????? Lol
this guy does not know what he is talking about over single bevels.
John does a horrible podcast with Troy “Ranch Fairy” but starts the podcast and says, “I’m not going to call you Ranch Fairy, I don’t call people by nicknames.” Then introduces all three of these guys by their nicknames. Dudley is truly a turd selling out to the hunting industry elites for free products and endorsements. If you want good science based hunting information about broadheads go to Ranch Fairy or The Hunting Public.
Ranch Fairy is a moron. Dudley has forgot more about archery than ranch fairy has ever known.
Looks like they saw sevr working and copied
Why do you guys disable likes and dislikes? It's really helpful for new viewers.
This is 101 pre-selling the product with anecdotal evidence. All broadheads do well with proper shot placement. Don’t fall for the marketing hype. If this head was so awesome why didn’t they show us controlled results through an elk or deer shoulder bone? Because there isn’t any folks. All talk. They show you what they want you to see/hear so you will buy.
Some interesting perspectives from a guy thats shot more animals than many of us could ever dream of.
there disposable at best.
Fake news
Looks like the one's on eBay 24 broadheads for $19.99
