Because maybe they fear she’ll talk. Maybe she’s has seen government officials and they want to make it look like they are “ investigating” her. Very odd. Now all of a sudden they are trying to save face. Either that or the backlash from the citizens. Either way Mr. Lee is gone. So sad he is gone. If he’d known how much people cared about him getting Justice. His wife needs to bold people accountable. It can happen to anyone.

Funny. The issue began with 10 individuals being ‘suspected’; then LSK’s name (one of the 10 individuals) is released to the press even though investigation is still ongoing. The media then exploited the situation; making as if LSK has been concluded a drug addict. Netizens then start working, criticising him and even harassing his families. And then he was penalised due to breach of advertisement contracts. All the punishments were thrown at him; simply because people are making hasty judgment without knowing the proper facts.
And then, when his result came out negative (3 times). The Police decides to continue grilling him (for 19 hours). And then suddenly the bar hostess decides to blackmail him of having an affair. Media(s) and netizen(s) continue their works even more aggressive. Again, all of this happen simply because people judge too quick.
After LSK killed himself, netizen(s) and media(s) start playing the mourning card. And then the Police expresses that they are only serving justice, and will always respected the law and uphold people’s basic rights. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Joke of the century.
Let’s see: before LSK committed suicide, it is reported that several high ranking police officers are promoted within the NPA: one of them is the Head of Anti-Drug Unit. Here we can immediately confirmed LSK has been used by the police for their own interest. Unlike a previous case; in which a deputy prosecutor was also suspected of drug use because his wife reported him. The man’s name is not even released to the press until he is proven guilty. Simply to say; LSK is only famous but he does not have power. And then, there’s the media(s); we all know many South Korea media outlets are in constant of the verge of collapsing. Therefore, they need whatever juicy stories they can find to survive. And LSK’s story unfortunately fit the bill for them. As for the netizens, I’m sure people need not to know what sort of fanatics they are.
Humans are not perfect. Sadly, we are bound to make mistakes. Simply to say; we are sinful. But those that seek to exploit others for their own benefits, then pretend to care when things go south are the worst.
I heard South Koreans are religious. Therefore, here’s to those hypocrites and lowlifes; God is watching, may the Almighty punish those that deserve it and be thrown to suffer in Hell.

Korea was more interested in his drug use case than the blackmail case. Police should have interrogated the person who was blackmailing him before questioning him. Tbf, he wasn't innocent. He cheated on his wife and frequented the high end brothel. That's why he got blackmailed. But even so, it's a private matter and he shouldn't have been treated the way he was treated. He was used by his country as a shield and for target practice. Korea is a nation of hypocrites, bullies, and pretentious people.

It’s too bad that he took his own life, but I dont understand why he is suddenly portrayed as a victim. Most of people - most of men in Korea don’t go to such places and don’t get involved with drug or drug users, to begin with. I dont pity him.

If you know anything about K-industry and culture, you know that people are jealous and want to bring these stars down. The amount of debt a star can incur will mount up with all the penalties from the decency clauses in their contracts for cancellation. SK hasn't taken an active approach to stopping those who take their lives. The shame culture of SK leads these people to go to extremes. Those who were blackmailing him should face the same outcome Lee Sun-Kyun has endured so these jealous greedy criminals will get what's due. I'm so sad for LSK. Also the public and even the like of myself. since the very beginning I read the news of his case, I've never ever bother to care nor read further, just simply know his is suspected for drug case, but after his passing suddenly I became more interested and felt bad for him whether he is truly guilty or not.
When he is alive, I've see no one from the ENT circle say anything about him, but the moment this sad moment happen everyone seems to just show up from anywhere.
If you compare it to GD situation where many still show support openly to him before he is confirmed negative of drug and anything, at the very least thing don't go to bad to the point even your family being threatened for it, but alas.....
