I have believed for thirty years that I would love to own one of these boats. Your video has educated me. I expected so much more than is offered. Really small interior for a forty foot boat.
@@HarborYachtTours I was just out there today for photos and wanted to let you the know that the upgraded wood in the Master Stateroom is Cherry Wood, and yes a 200k addition and the single in the VIP stateroom espands out to a queen! Thanks again, fabulous video!
These types of yachts are practical and seaworthy. In New England they are common not so much in Florida. Great boat to do the great loop etc. To bring her back to Bristol condition inside and out depends on your skill set and drive. But to redo her engine room professionally ( along with paint) as well as awl-gripping her exterior- 50k range- but then you would have a new boat
Thanks for the tour. Was once a gorgeous boat that still has good bones and, assuming no horrors lurking in the hull or engines, not complicated to DIY back to stunning condition with some time invested. Love the layout.
Wow she's really nice. You always have the coolest boats on your channel. Looks like a weekend boat for Maine or maybe even the Bahamas, right? Needs a lot of cosmetic work, both light and heavy. Thanks Bryan for bringing us another awesome boat to see.
@@HarborYachtTours Hell yeah it would be! I really like all your videos man. You always feature a great, varied assortment of some really cool boats/yachts. Yours is probably the best boating theme channel on TH-cam. I like this one a lot and the price is definitely in my price range but the costs of mooring something 40 feet at any decent marina here in southern California is a serious expense I would need to think about for awhile. $1000 mo in San Diego and $2400 mo where I'm at currently. So yeah that's why I'm looking at something around 24' to 28' which can be $400 - $500 mo. But dang dude your channel always makes me want something bigger like this awesome Legacy in today's video. I bet she's gonna be real sweet looking when she's fixed up.
@@LiberaceProtege Wow thanks for the high praise. I hope it takes off and I can do this full time. I have lots of ideas and plans for the future. San Diego sounds like paradise if it wasn't so pricey.
@@HarborYachtTours Paradise is a strong word. No place is paradise. I've lived here in southern California all my life (with vacation homes in other states) and it's not expensive when you consider salaries are higher here, so it all compensates. Florida isn't cheap anymore. Oklahoma, Alabama and the south is much cheaper and wages are about lower, but does anyone really want to live there? No. Texas is cheaper but wages are a little lower than California and it isn't as desirable and the weather is not as good. Most folks that moved to California recently that then have moved back to these other states did so because they couldn't make it work financially without a decent job, and they didn't have proper employment here. So they went somewhere cheaper where they could exist on lower, unskilled employment. They then go online and bash California as if California was the reason they don't have a strong work ethic or a skill set. There are approximately 34 Million people that live here in California. More than ten percent of all the entire population of the Unite States of America live in California. Millions of houses and apartments all over the state. All of them full! Nice houses everywhere and none of them are vacant and abandoned. California is very much in demand. Folks are raising their kids and going to work every day and paying their bills and taking vacations and living life here just like normal people everywhere do. 34 million Americans go about their daily lives here, buy a house through FHA (3% down pmt), put their kids through school, buy cars, some buy small boats, buy groceries, pay their bills, lead normal lives and don't complain because life really is better here. As I say wages are higher here to compensate. I lived in Hawaii too and it is famous for being expensive, and yes it really is super expensive. So what? Wages are much higher there to compensate. I made 50% more there than I did in California so I didn't mind the higher grocery costs. In California housing is more expensive than less popular states but grocery costs are the same here as everywhere else. Gasoline is higher yes but that added tax pays for our higher quality roads and bridges. Our sales tax is lower than most places. Our property tax is about 1% per year if you buy a house. Yes there are affordable, less expensive houses around and in nice areas. I have one. For someone like yourself that is a small business owner (sole proprietor, no permanent employees) and you provide a highly specialized upscale service (boat detailing etc) to a highly specialized upscale customer base, doing business in San Diego California can be very lucrative if you are savvy, hard working and can market your business really well. I don't know of anyone like you offering five-star services around here currently.
Man i could definitely see living abord this boat. This is a beautiful boat, but extremely practical. I'm not a big fan of the flashy ones. I prefer to tug trawler commercial liok myself. I will say i wasn't expecting that 2nd cabin\office with the ensuit. That's definitely a bonus.
Her weight distribution needs work, too heavy in the bow and her sheerline might fix its self with the weight distribution correctness. One does not want a vessel that plows through the water, instead it should glide with the forward part of the forfoot above the water.

Would be a great boat for somebody that wants to do the work but that's not me. Might have to negotiate on the price a little. Thanks for showing it.
Sellers are amenable to that.😁
Harbor Pilot Yacht Tours, awesome content keep it up bro
More to come! I appreciate that
Super detailed, excellent video Brian, thank you

Harbor Pilot Yacht Tours, cool video
I like the 23kt cruise stat. I wonder that costs in gph or mpg? It looks like it would make an awesome loop boat if it didn't burn too much fuel.

I totally agree
I thought I liked Tugs too until I saw trawlers like, Nordhavn and Bering. Way more room, much larger tanks, and range, with lots of redundancies.
@@zedwpd Who's a better builder Nordhaven or Bering?
@@zedwpd thats a 74 Nordhaven in my main page picture
Looking for a liva board in Memphis but a lil too much for me. Let me know if price comes down to around $100k
Nice but needs a lot of work wasn’t looked after.Does it have a engine log?
Good question
Hey neighbor how can I send a link for what appears to be a great boat and trailer you may want to look into?
Check my email in the description also in the about us page. Or try here. Thanks I appreciate it.
Re-do the upholstery, flooring, and electronics and $199k is reasonable.
Seems fair
Great vid, nice boat…however, I have seen much nicer for the same pricing!
Thanks for watching and commenting

@10:20 I'd call that a "hawsehole."
Yeah, I was going to say hawsepipe, but it still seems like there's a better term for it.
Thanks I appreciate it
@@HarborYachtTours I appreciate you.
A lot of money for a 25 year old boat
Yes but this is true quality and has another 25 years in her
Can't be an ice box, must be a cold plate from the engine. Nice design but the sun and salt have taken their toll. Needs a total rehab.
Thanks for the pointer. So how’s a cold plate from the engine work?

How do you know she’s too heavy forward?
Spent way to much time on the out side. Took to long to get to the meat of the boat.
Thanks for the advice

WAY too much work for $189 I'd make an offer of $50K but I'm afraid you might accept it. I'm surprised you spent your time making this video, come on
Way over priced in today's market.
