Jojo the raccoon, discontent with only getting second billing at the impending opening of Dr. Gavin's new theme park Whoopie World, decides to sabotage the park in favour of founding his own Jojo's World. It's up to Dr. Gavin's robot, Rocket, to stop Jojo and get the park back in working order in time for opening.

This was one of my favorite games ever as a child. I messed around with the rollercoaster creation alone for such a long time.

@@sarahscares5373 well it is a tas and that means that he played it frame by frame to get the best possible time. it would be much harder to not do a tas.
I have been trying to remember this game my entire life now. I finally found it after looking through every single nintendo 64 game. This is such a relief and I may now die peacefully.
We went from Rocket: Robot on Wheels to Sly 1-3 to the Infamous series to Ghost Of Tsushima.
Now that’s a glow up, not by much because Rocket was perfect to begin with.
i used to play this game with my dad when i was younger. he passed away a little over a year ago and seeing this brings me such an unreal joy, thank you for posting this
The music in this game was amazing. As a kid I just thought it was some kind of jazz, but as an adult it makes me think of a sleazy casino and I'm down for that. Rayman, Tonic Trouble and Rocket, The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost. If you didn't experience all 3 I'm so sorry...

This is freaking amazing with all the physics that had to be considered. One of the coolest TAS I have ever seen. Kept me stoked. The running up the belt inside the trex and no scoping with the paint tank >:D o ma gawwwwd

Graphically, this looks just as good as Rayman 2, and as to be expected, as they're both made by Ubisoft.

TerrorOfTalos Ah. My eyes probably only caught the logo and the capital D (for Developed) next to Ubisoft's name. This was actually made by Sucker Punch Studios. Still, it looks really good for the N64
I played this game with my friend day and night. I remember first coming into the park, and I remember the last level. I don't remember beating it the last map ever though. Nice to see the last map completed.

This game reminds me of my previous home childhood. I wish I want to watch the video and play this game on my good, nicest and greatest old Android laptop with the BAK carrier on this amazing startup screen.

.....why do some of the sounds here, sound like they came from something familiar? The yeah, wee and sound of the pillars being smashed are something in particular.
i think it’s from mario because the sounds he makes when he jumps sound just like super mario galaxy or mario bros... not to mention how similar this game is to mario in general

I remember playing this as a kid and not knowing any English, I didn't know what I was suposed to do in the game ;-; so I would just explore the scenery and do some stuff by accident sometimes lol

I watch them just because they're so relaxing. There are no high stakes, the TAS bot always wins. Often times I just fall asleep watching one. :-P
@@Terkzorr That's a really cool way to think about it! I've tried falling asleep to gameplay before but I guess the ones I picked were just too noisy and not as relaxing. I'll have to try putting a TAS on sometime tho!!
Funny enough TAS helps me get sleepy. I turn it off once I'm suitably sleepy but there's just something so relaxing about TAS.

Runner was waiting for the floating lava rock to be close enough to jump on, so just did fancy movements while waiting.

That's the thing about selling games to a generally young audience back in the day, it didn't matter. To this day it still doesn't really matter, but the internet likes to pretend it does.

@@Terkzorr If it conveys the information it's intended to it doesn't matter, it's only a meme because people say it is. It might convey some lack of professionalism, but that's literally just an issue in your (and to be fair many other peoples) head, but it doesn't really matter in meat space.
That all being said, this is still just a 64 game made back in the day with a younger audience in mind, I wouldn't think it would be that much of an issue.

I traded a kid for this game. They ended up indian giving whatever I traded. I would definitely play this game again if given the chance.
