You guys are on to something truly magnificent here. Two of my car heroes, a destination for the ages, and one of the car world’s most epic presenters and storytellers…. I’m looking forward to every episode.
This was behind their paywall for a long time. 4 or 5 episodes if I recall but I don't think there's been any followup. It's a fantastic series. Hope they upload the other episodes...looking forward to enjoying them again.
MT you have to make new episodes! More! This can be the "Searching for Italy" of cars. Excellent cinematography and hearing Jethro's honest opinions on the cars and locations is fantastic.
What a great series this is! Can't wait for the next episodes. I've done the NC500 with a motorbike three weeks ago, and it blew me away. It's so beautiful down there! Another great trip is the Eifel (Germany) where the Nürburgring is. The track isn't even the highlight for me, it's the whole area: different type of (very well paved) roads, quiet and beautiful. I've done that three times with my Lotus Elise 160 (s2) now. Great for two days of sheer driving pleasure.
Feel privileged to live within 2 hours of these roads, a very suitable tribute to them. Also 7 mins 18 seconds, what a shot. Brave to be skipping a 4.0 round a corner like that. I'm hooked already.
Wow, this one deserves a comment. Perfection from the beginning to the end. The cars, roads, shots, editing, etc.... all absolutely magnificent! Just epic, congrats!!!
I'm lucky enough to be one of the people Jethro refers to when he says that car has made more people feel good than any other. I've driven that actual GT3 RS 4.0 at the Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone a few years ago, RF61 ARO. I agree with Jethro, just the most phenomenal 911, the best ever ❤️
Whats the speedcam-situation? Being it such a popular place for the Ferarris and Lambos of this world i could imagine the blue ones are standing behind every second corner.
@@000GunterGabriel000 There isn't a lot of stationary speed camera's along the route but at the parts with dual carriage ways there is probably going to be a speed camera Van waiting for you.
Hello!really nice route!but you should definitely try Greece where you can find perfect mountain roads with no traffic and also find great roads by the sea really close!
Amazing video. Great to see Jethro back on our shores despite picking up some of the lingo from Yankee Doodle Land. Corners have now become Turns but I'll let it slide, as this was epic!
As you said, "you may have brought the two best cars ever". I totally agree, for me the Carrera GT is the ultimate car ever made, even winning by the tightest margin all its competitors. A BEAUTIFUL car combined with an INCREDIBLE machine (performance, sound and reliability).
I owned and drove a lot of amazing and rare cars, as well as right down to earth one's. My 3.8RS with the rose jointed parts of the 4.0, a better diff and a proper aluminium shifter is the best thing that i have ever drive.
Great work Jethro. Now i dare you to try the same road on sunny days with a manual 718 Spyder equipped with short gearing and the Ninemeister lightweight flywheel.
Great video and it was really nice to watch. Something similar would be to go to Iceland with some great sports cars and drive the ring road. It’s a drive that I will be taking, but now I would also like to drive the route you were on in Scotland.
Loved the content and the bar is indeed high. Shame that you didn’t make it round the north east corner but I guess you’ve left that for future cars. Not too bad on the pronunciation either.
Headphones on, volume turned up, lights turned off, full screen. Loved it. But please please PLEASE upload this [and future episodes] in 4K with minimum compression. Losing all that detail at the final stage is such a tragic waste of a collective effort.
I hope this series lasts for a good long while! What a fun job he's carved out for himself here as well.
The sweet spot of automotive youtubeness. Epic editing, purpose and decades of know how…. More please!
Great show! You had us all at RS 4.0 through Scotland and then you throw in a little Carrera GT as a bonus. Loved it.
You guys are on to something truly magnificent here. Two of my car heroes, a destination for the ages, and one of the car world’s most epic presenters and storytellers…. I’m looking forward to every episode.
Thank you very much Motor Trend for finally releasing this to the public. Can´t wait for the next episodes!!
You could not have picked more legendary cars and a more legendary location than this. Absolutely brilliant!
That was ridiculously good, I'm stunned. Can't wait for the next episode. Bravo Jethro & crew!
This was behind their paywall for a long time. 4 or 5 episodes if I recall but I don't think there's been any followup. It's a fantastic series. Hope they upload the other episodes...looking forward to enjoying them again.
To Jethro and the all team, congratulations! What a first episode...what a joy to watch!
This is what being a petrolhead is all about!
Scottish beauty landscapes. Gt Porsches and Jethro Bovingdon. Man, it's all we need. 😍
Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
MT you have to make new episodes! More! This can be the "Searching for Italy" of cars. Excellent cinematography and hearing Jethro's honest opinions on the cars and locations is fantastic.
This was Brilliant. Hopefully you keep this series going
Probably the best car video ive ever watched. Well done, the best of everything. 10/10 fellas.

Jethro has to be right up there with the absolute best in the business. Brilliant work!
Jethro my HUMBLE HERO!!!
I’m not a man of words but wow!
TH-cam needs more Jethro...lots, lots more Jethro!
I remember meeting Jethro in Snowdonia when he was testing the McLaren P1 alongside Henry Catchpole in a Porsche 918. Nice fella!
A wonderful piece of film! My favourite cars on my favourite roads…narrated by a proper motoring journalist. Well done Jethro…keep them coming 👏
Truly jaw dropping. Wow. Stunning land. Can't wait for more.
Feel privileged to live within 2 hours of these roads, a very suitable tribute to them. Also 7 mins 18 seconds, what a shot. Brave to be skipping a 4.0 round a corner like that. I'm hooked already.
I already saw it on the motortrend app while it was possible to watch via VPN, but I will watch it again on TH-cam with pleasure
Good to see jethro back on the scene ,epic video can't wait for the next episode 👍
Great start of the show, Petrolhead Planet! Loved the 4.0 vs GT bit. Keep it going.
Wow, this one deserves a comment. Perfection from the beginning to the end. The cars, roads, shots, editing, etc.... all absolutely magnificent! Just epic, congrats!!!
Wow, this is some of the best car content I have EVER SEEN on the internet, period!!

Wow. We are undeserving, stunning production
What a video! Great job Jethro and the team, can’t wait for the next in the series.
Excellent series I can't wait for the next episodes. Scotland is magnificent and the choice of cars couldn't be better.
I live in the scottish highlands and personally its the some of the best driving roads the UK has to offer i am truly blessed with this location.
Whats the speedcam-situation? Being it such a popular place for the Ferarris and Lambos of this world i could imagine the blue ones are standing behind every second corner.

Magnificent cars , truly sensational roads and the scenery?
Outstanding
Love it 👍🏻🙏
Sensational cars and location to kick off this new series. JB captivating as ever. More please now, yes?
Yay, great to see more of Jethro
I’ve been waiting for something like this
And now the wait is over 👍
Jethro, you are the man. Genuine enthusiasm comes accross. Keep her lit boss.
The very best roads outside of mainland Europe. Great video.
Hello!really nice route!but you should definitely try Greece where you can find perfect mountain roads with no traffic and also find great roads by the sea really close!
She was driven so hard( poor girl) but still reliable. What a car! Also the GT is obviously cool
Good to see you having so much fun in your new gig
Love your work Jethro. Awesome!
Amazing video. Great to see Jethro back on our shores despite picking up some of the lingo from Yankee Doodle Land. Corners have now become Turns but I'll let it slide, as this was epic!
Simply thumbs up for the title “Petrolhead Planet”
The best of both worlds, cars and scenery.
Pleease upload this beautiful show in 4k that would raise the bar even more
Thanks you very much for this piece of art.
As you said, "you may have brought the two best cars ever". I totally agree, for me the Carrera GT is the ultimate car ever made, even winning by the tightest margin all its competitors. A BEAUTIFUL car combined with an INCREDIBLE machine (performance, sound and reliability).
Very few cars better to start a series called 'petrolhead planet' with than a 997 4.0 and Carrera GT. Cracking video 👏🏻
Utterly brilliant film. Well done & thanks 🤜
Beautiful production, thank you 🙏
Two of my favorite cars ever built!
Congratulations I’m a subscriber and I can’t wait to see what you all come up with for content!
Have been waiting for Jethro tales for a long time. Welcome back buddy
I owned and drove a lot of amazing and rare cars, as well as right down to earth one's. My 3.8RS with the rose jointed parts of the 4.0, a better diff and a proper aluminium shifter is the best thing that i have ever drive.
I own a 3.8RS too and the shifter seems to be the weak spot of the car. Very notchy it is.
I never tire of your narrative, you are a journalistic legend.
What an incredible video! Thanks Jethro and team.
Great work Jethro. Now i dare you to try the same road on sunny days with a manual 718 Spyder equipped with short gearing and the Ninemeister lightweight flywheel.
Awesome content. Keep em coming Jethro!
Jethro is one of my favorite reviewers
This was stupendously brilliant! 👏🏽
Amazing cars and views. Keep it up.
Two of the best Porsche cars ever!👍

Jaysus, that’s straight in as a top 10 car vid 🤘🏼
Great video chills came down when you brought out the carrera gt
Absolutely fantastic. Hit the spot!
No follow up? Waiting for Episode 2! is it behind a Pay Wall I don't know about?
Looks brilliant, great cars; really enjoyed the video!
Brilliant!! Keep them coming...
Wonderful video! The only thing it’s lacking are long sequences in both cars with no talking, no music, no editing, just the sounds of the engines.
Incredible jethro
Looking forward to seeing what follows!
Great video and it was really nice to watch. Something similar would be to go to Iceland with some great sports cars and drive the ring road. It’s a drive that I will be taking, but now I would also like to drive the route you were on in Scotland.
Absolutely brilliant
Great episode with Jethro, enjoyed that
Great vid and perfect backdrop to two Halo cars from Stuttgart!
Life doesn't get much better with those cars and roads

fantastic vid Jethro!
Love the NW and its roads; about to go again.
Bovingdon is an automotive legend.
Everything is awesome in this video. 🤩
Awesome footage and presentation. A shame it isn't a 4K upload.
This was great, can't wait for more
Loved the content and the bar is indeed high. Shame that you didn’t make it round the north east corner but I guess you’ve left that for future cars. Not too bad on the pronunciation either.
Good stuff! 👍
Stellar cars for the first episode… gonna be tough to follow up on that😅
the emotion is strong
Where are the rest of the episodes in this series??
Headphones on, volume turned up, lights turned off, full screen. Loved it.
But please please PLEASE upload this [and future episodes] in 4K with minimum compression.
Losing all that detail at the final stage is such a tragic waste of a collective effort.
Absolutely brilliant video ❤
This is amazing!!!! F*** yes!!
I just drove about 350 miles of the NC 500 last month. Unfortunately, I was in a Citroen C5 Aircross 😢😅. It was epoch and beautiful either way!
Epic video...Hands down
Brilliant review
