Waffle Houses are supposed to be southern restaurants, the South is home to most of the African American population and likely where more ghettos exist too.

Many years ago I was a waitress at WH. Drunks came in, threw food at us for no reason. Our cook chased them them into the parking lot where he caught one of them and drug his ass all over the pavement. That guy got a lawyer, really nice 8x10 photos of his pulverized face and took the cook to court. The judge was not amused by that guy’s drunken stupidity. The guy got in trouble and fined? I can’t remember. Now with social media, people just need content no matter what. I just hope they too find themselves eating pavement. I would subscribe to that 😂

Also, when my husband. and I were dating we went to Waffle House.We had his 2 year old nephew with us. Right next to this fine establishment is another fine establishment with an awesome reputation. The motel for lonely truckers. Early into our meal a trucker and his "date" walked in from the motel. Then she proceeded to scream at him for not buying her dinner. He told her that she could get her own meal with the money he just payed her. She then started dancing around and throwing her purse up in the air and catching it. She walked over to our table and tried to run her fingers through my nephew's hair.Even at 2 he had a thick headful of black curls. I jerked his highchair away from her and my husband told her to get lost. She started harassing other customers.A waitress was nice to her but told her to pay and leave. We were seated with our backs to the cash register. I heard a weird flicking sound. I turned around to her putting her lighter to the back of my husband's head and flicking it. Wow! Good times!
