My side mirror blinker also broken and need to replace. Before replcing, rain will come inside fron the crack. What will happen if water go inside from the side mirror blinker crack. Electric shock? It can damage the whole electrical? system?
Depending on the size of the crack it might do some damage but definitely not a shock as the car runs on 12 volts DC power only. The little engine that does the rotation of mirror plate is in an enclosed housing so, as long as that’s intact you will be good. I would advise to clean all the possible junk that made its way in through the crack, seal the crack with some glue from inside, slightly lube the mirror plate gears, change any broken parts and put everything back together. If you take your time and don’t rush it. It will be good as gold. Thanks for your comments and GOOD LUCK 🤞 👍
@@lifeleaves1268 Thanks for the advice. The crack is pretty big and bacame hole. Definitely rain water will go inside. Anyway I will use the clear tape to cover it up for the meanwhile. Thanks again.
@@zayaraung5653 another thing that you can do if you want to get the extra insurance is tape the hole from outside the cover, make sure that it covers it aerodynamically with the lines on the cover, mix some jb weld and fill the hole from inside, leave it for 24 hrs and once it is dry carefully remove the tapes from outside. You should get good results and peace of mind for winter 👍
I bought mine from ebay as Honda wanted to sell me the whole mirror first plus a paint job and all in a sudden they found out it is not necessary and I can buy the indicator for only 70 euros which was still alot! So good old eBay came to rescue and it cost me 20 euros shipping included!

Where do you buy that indicator i can't find it anywhere!!
