    Many thanks, watched this twice and it was excellent in guiding me through the process first time.

    Great help, thanks. Ordered part from AliExpress - cost less than £9 delivered from China (May 2019). Easy to fit with your instructions. Honda dealer wanted £168......

      What a ridiculous price from the dealer!

    Great video, yes no need to pull the mirror mount off, the indicator unit comes out once the outer bezel/surround is removed.
    Also, no need to remove mirror power supply wires😎😎😎

    Thanks for that.
    Just swapped out the indicator on my mums car. Ordered one from AliExpress for £7 on your say so, wasn’t sure about ordering a cheap one as sometimes the orange colour can be well off, but very hard to notice the difference. The new one is ever so slightly brighter, but that’s me being picky. Thanks again.

      Glad to have been of help. My pal ordered a pair and we'd originally intended swapping out both of them but as the new Chinese one performed well, we didn't bother. I think it's going into his sons car eventually, as he's got a cracked lens!

    Superb video and saved me a load of grief. Hardest bit was getting the mirror out but got there after about 5 mins so all good. Thank you very much for this :-)

      Glad to be of help. I put this up because I couldn't seem to find a video that covered this particular side mirror. Once you understand how the glass pops off and on, it's a pretty straightforward thing.

    Many thanks for your excellent video, I have just changed my left side indicator. Your little tip at the end about the mirror clips was a great help as I had to persuade the last clip to clip in place.
    Thanks

    Excellent tutorial. I've just changed my sidelight. I think they changed the internals slightly on mine (2010 model) and I did not have to take out the internal element. The light, with a bit of shoogeling came out, and the went back in the same way with the new light.

      Interesting that there's a variation. We did a revisit on the opposite side last week. The less to remove, the better! 😉

    I'm having a problem with the folding motor and I'm not able to remove it. Can you help, please?

      I had a problem with the folding motor on my old Hyundai i20. It was a corroded terminal that was causing the problem. Unfortunately, I've no experience with the CRV mirror folding motor. I did post a video of the Hyundai a few years back, should be in my video list and might give some clues, if there isn't already another CRV video on TH-cam?

      Steven the link was in the description. Ordered via AliExpress.
      Edit: looks like the original link is no longer valid and just opens the AliExpress site.
      Here's a link to one but have a good look around to find the best deals. This is only an example.

    Brilliant! Only one possible issue is your use of WD40 as a contact cleaner could cause problems down the track, better to use something like Deoxit.

    • @gtd65
      @gtd65  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're correct of course but it was really just to get any dampness out of the connectors.

    would this be the same for the 2009 honda jazz?

    • @gtd65
      @gtd65  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it's "possible" it would be constructed in a similar fashion but I'm not able to confirm. Can you see anything that looks similar, holding the mirror glass on with the Jazz?
