Have fun! We stayed at the Sai Chon Raft house on the lake itself. You usually book a tour on the lake and they book the accommodation for you. We have a seperate video about Khao Sok

Thailand is a beautiful country with sites to see and great cultures to learn about. But what is it like to live there? Does it have decent living conditions, are the economics good, and what rules do they have?
You'd have to talk to someone who's been living there! Many expats and foreigners have made their way to Thailand. It's pretty safe and living conditions are great if you have the money :)

Hey Guys! Wonderfull video! I am going to Thai in january 2024. Could you please give us details for bungalows on Khao Sok that you showed on a video?
We have a full video on Khao Sok where we highlight all those details. There are basically different types of floating bungalows on the lake you can choose to stay in. This one was the second cheapest option, called the Sai Chon Raft House. But there are also more "luxurious" options!
Would you guys recommend staying for Songkran? Just curious about the cleanliness of the water they use for the water fights. Looks fun though

Going to Visit Thailand in January! So this video is INCREDIBLY helpful (And stunning obviously). Can i ask what is the deal for drone shots? I have mine registered but do i need permission to fly it in some natural locations? (Obviously not close to temple and monuments)
It's allowed in some places but definitely not everywhere. None of the national parks / protected natural areas allow it...

We don’t! Our camera equipment is pretty simple: a canon eos 80d, go pro hero 10, and a dji mini 3 drone!
@@worldwildhearts Nice... Simple is usually better. So no gimbal? I'm assuming that goPro has exceptional built in stabilization then. I was big on goPro when they were first introduced but I'm way out of the loop on their newer gear. I have the mini 3 pro so very familiar with that platform.
We don’t have a gimbal! Makes it sometimes challenging for the canon camera. But it seems to work for now. Go pro indeed has an amazing stabilisation built in

Depending on the places you go to. We recommend booking at least a week in advance for accommodation as the best places fill up quickly, especially in more popular destinations. Thailand is family-friendly overall, but the more popular places will definitely have a wider range of hotels to choose from that will be good for families... like Bangkok, the Samui Islands, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Koh Lanta, Phi Phi, ...

All places in the list are famous and well known for travellers, next time let's you try the quiet and nature place e.g. Kanom beach, Samila Beach, Sakom Beach, ThungWuaLaen Beach, KlongWan PrachuabKirikhan

What I experienced there after 1 month is that Thailand has beautiful temples and places to see!!! Unfortunately, it smells like sewer and the hotels can have the same smells making it unpleasant. So, watch where you stay. Not to mention the fumes of the cars. Difficult.

Not that we're aware of! We didn't have to show anything really.... just the passport and then they'll ask some questions about how long you'll stay etc before stamping you in

29 days of travelling thru the country, Thailand is a messy, tough country, no one speaks English, only they will tell you the prices. Horrible traffic, very high pollution, plastics everywhere on the beach, streets and restaurants are rough and messy! No credit cards, no credit cards or prepaid cards like Wise, is cash only. Taxi you have to negotiate the price, you call Bolt is only one in Bangkok and will send you message with other price, the street food is horrible. Public buses are horrible, in Bangkok crossing the streets is dangerous, motorbikes everywhere and don't respect people, the capital city has a very bad smell and pollution. Perfect for sex for tourist. don't forget they have beautiful beaches and temple but full full of tourists. The Embassy in Lisbon not very friendly. I will never came back, that is for sure.
