Thanks for sharing. Reminds me of some of our trails (which is why we went with the HD protection). Definitely looks a bit challenging on a bigger bike. Hope you had fun!
Nice one lads, Great to see the Aprilla and T7 hitting some slippery nuggets, not easy to pick your lines and keep it upright on that stuff, heart rates are up. Yo from NZ
Cheers mate always great riding with the gang always a great day out and some awesome lane's around where we are this was definitely one of the more challenging one's tho thanks for watching 👍
Ive not seen any rock gardens this long on the mountain bike trails but the trail to the start of this one is definitely like a mtb trail it was epic 👌 thanks for watching mate 👍
the camera will never show the trail for what it is and for those that don't know it, go try it - it is a proper well done for you lads getting through on the big guns - you boys deserve massive respect. I enjoy this lane on my 500 and it is ridden much quicker but there is no way i would take one of these down here, fair play - i took a massive digger on that long slimy slab 2 weeks ago where you lost the front but i was not so lucky and landed hard and fast on the rocks to the right OUCH and it took a few minutes to even stand, a black leg from balls to knee and only just getting back to colour
Cheers mate appreciate that 👍 was a good laugh but like you say it's a risky game on these technical lane's i was lucky to get away with that one hope you're getting over your off then bud 👍
@@ads_rides oh yeah it's risky alright - i can't believe how well Lews T7 takes the crashes as some of them are gnar, i have been riding twice since so i am totally fine just waiting for the haematoma to bugger off now, it has shrank about 3 inch but it's still there the bas7ard haha
@ogasi1798 bloody hell shrank 3inch fair play that was some nasty off then mate glad recovery goin well tho 👍 i know yea tough as old boots that wr fair play
Camera just doesn't do it justice how steep this hill is either never mind how big some of the rocks are it was great completing this one thanks for watching 👍
@@ads_rides haha yeah the camera never captures the true scale of the trails. Or the bravery of the rider taking them on. In fact, in my experience, it mostly captures heavy breathing 🤣
I used to do this kind of thing with my Jeep. I'd push it past its capability (and mine) then break it in some way. Sometimes an easy inexpensive fix, sometimes not.
Gees, it’s a shame we can’t see how properly steep that was too, you guys are certainly make the most of the bikes,I’ve see that bolt for the side stand go before with others, it’s a dumb design, almost like it needs a mini bash plate itself. Wonder if can print a cover or something. Side stand off drill the hole and tap a new bolt?
Yea the camera just smooths the trails out doesn't do it justice at all this is a rough route. Yea definitely a week point on the bike the side stand in general 👍 thanks for watching 👍
I’ve taken my Caponord 1000 down there. Last weekend I rode UP on my DRZ no real difficulty. It’s not the challenge people claim it is. ( I’ve posted the video)
@@ads_rides ye was decent, really enjoyed it,..we took it totally chill as my mate on his rally pro was on literally road tyres (lethal) but he couldnt resist,..haha ... Man that downhill looks a savage one,.. 😮💨
@NorthRaceOne cant beat it mate just good getting out init 👍 weather was decent for ya too 👌 yea rough old route this one was a great day out though all round Dolgellau
Keep watching the channel mate i normally do follow lewis on ride outs but we all tend to give each other room case of any crashes etc ill try get some footage, have you checked out his channel?
Definitely mate this was a good adventure 👌 the mirrors are just cheap cycle ones from amazon and depending how you set them up they offer enough visibility for me bit i like to think im a very observant rider on the road so dont just rely on my mirrors etc 👍 thanks for watching
Hi buddy, I don't know if you remember but a few months ago I commented on one of your videos about considering getting into adventure biking and having learnt that we live close to each other, (I live in Rhydymwyn), hoped that maybe I could join you on a ride. Long story short, I've finally bought a suitable bike today and wondered if we could find a better way to communicate than in the TH-cam comments so I could tag along riding one day if that's okay?
Respect et couillu de s'aventurer sur de tel chemin, di on peut appeler ça un chemin, mes respects 👍. Pas de bol par contre avec la branche, ça n'arrive pas tous les jours.
Anyone that has been down it would think twice about goin up 🤣 i think if you was mad enough on big bikes it would be an all day job getting up or until everyone gives up and turns around ive seen videos of poeple trying but years ago the trail has probably got worse over the years
@@ads_rides Skips over a bit easier ...especially with big travel bike... Wouldnt fancy taking my Vstrom 800DE down that.... at least I can carry the MTB
@DuffersMcDuff yea i get what you mean i do find in some case's the weight if the bike is reassuring that and having 240mm of suspension it normally means it will just plough through or over anything just a case of hanging onto it 🤣 cool how do you find the vstrom? Every time i see a brake magazine video makes me want one of them 👌
@@ads_rides I love it... took it of-road in anger for the first time last week. Need to tweek the suspension but it rides like a big dirt bike and the low down power and tractorbility is awesome. Im up in North Wales next week ... MTB trip. The Tuareg looks awesome as a package, I test rode a load of bikes... Tuareg/Transalp/Husky (Not KTM - Can't live with the looks) and VStrom and the Suzuki suited me the best. Looking forward to seeing you get in trouble again in the future :)
@@DuffersMcDuff they do look lovely bikes them suzuki and get great reviews i might take one out this summer just to see what im missing nice enjoy it up north wales fingers crossed the weather is good for you 👍 cheers mate the full video of our ride will be up tomorrow or the first half anyway 👍
@gsxrkz im biased ive got the Aprilia so id say the Aprilia but there are no bad bikes out there really so if you prefer the look of the t7 go for it mate 👍
@46dude41 it was definitely a work out only early on in our ride out tho so plenty of lanes on our route after this one a tough day on the bike's all good fun 👌
Man that looks like some wet tricky off-roading. Well done as always sir!
Thank you mate appreciate it 👍

Thanks for watching 👍 always a good day out when it's on the bike 👍
zip ties for life man! I also really need to take care of the kickstand bolt before I get stucked on a trail
great ride man, sweaty !
I know zip ties to the rescue 👍 thanks for watching mate 👍
So happy we done it 🙌 won't be doing it again in a hurry 😆 can't be many gnarly lanes in north Wales we haven't done now, surely?! 🤘
Definitely done some of the best 👌
fair fux for doing it, a beast of a lane on any bike but on them things - oooft fair play
