I have a Transalp in Canada, he was brave to take his through all that rocks without a skid plate, no crash bars and no handguards. I broke my clutch at first drop.
Hey, I watched this first from Mike\s perspective on Kate's channel but I kept on looking at your Tenere. On his video it didn't look like you even had a windscreen. The Tenere has been my, somewhat distant, 2nd choice of bikes to get next but now I'm not sure. It's moved up again. The conundrum of wanting more than one bike, but the finances for ONLY one. THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE! (thunder crashing) P.S. Mike kept talking about how tall you are. With the somewhat distorted view of the action cams it's difficult to tell. Just wondering how tall you are. Also, aside from the windscreen change, is there anything else that you changed to adapt to your ergonomics? Cheers!
Hi thanks for the comment! I am 6ft4 and weight around 16st. To get the bike how I wanted it I have done the following: Suspension resprung and valved Lowered 30mm rally foot pegs I have then fit crash bars and swapped the plastics to Rtech ones which are more crash resistant! I recently bought some SMPro wheels so I can have a set of road wheels and off road wheels.
@@NorthWestEnduro Thanks for replying. I've been browsing mods, reviews and upgrades for the T7 for the last couple of days. Very pleased with the aftermarket variety and the hopeful information on the 2025 model.
Got it from enduropro.com I use for keeping a small multi tool and cable ties etc. Carry the rest of my tools under the seat and on the rear of the bike.
Thanks for taking us along Tom!!
No worries always welcome!
HRC tassels, nice!
Definitely an acquired taste
@@NorthWestEnduro 😂 I’m getting rid of my Barkbusters for this!
