I luv it, it's uniquely different from the general vocaloids we all know. Sweet Ann's voice is so unique that it broke the descriptions of vocaloids and GUMI's voice is sooo clean and soothing in here =v=
I like the little 50s style of this song , its really great ! It's reallly awesome to see musics made using english voicebanks without using theses new ''electro funky idk wut stuff'' for the music .
i love this sooo much........the instrumental is perfect and so are the lyrics it's like about a monotonous life, so monotonous that seems as if it has been magically possessed, and death is the vanishing act !
Oooooo myyyyy. Ooooomyyyyyyyy you are the only person i found using sweet an and make her sound good o Ao ... and gumi have a good English accent that cool to you did grate and the illustration is lovely I have heard some of your work and is realy pleasing nice work .
Good night; I was wondering if I can use this song for an OC animation for this, my animations channel. This goes so well with her, so I wanted to use it. I'll put credits at the end of the video and in the description. I want to start animating in TH-cam and I have some projects in mind, so this song is perfect for a video I have planned. Wish your answer sooner ♥
I think that the song doesn't have a concrete meaning. But from what i've interpreted from the lyrics, its about how inevitable the cycle of life and death is. No matter how long you live for, and no matter what you do in your life, you're always going to be stuck in the same cycle. No wait, no reprieve from the never-ending winding course. There are two "singers". Sweet Ann is the singer that is self-aware and is trying to preach it out to her audience. GUMI isn't actually a performer. She's on stage to take Sweet Ann away, so Ann can restart the cycle. idk im weird, that's just my theory on the song
The irony of being the lyricist of this is that this...started out as a Homestuck song. So now you know. But the meaning as it evolved is kinda a groundhog day of someone watching their loved one leave them for someone else and being unable to put into words their true feelings? Like...I can write words but man are emotions hard to realize in any tangible way to communicate? IDK if it makes sense but this song remains a long time fave, even after the homestuck faded away LMAO.
This may seem like an odd question to ask almost 7 years after the song's been published, but are you planning on releasing the song on newsgrounds at any point?
The music is beautiful and delightful, and I honestly think sweet Ann really goes well with this style... Not so sure about Gumi... Idk what it is... But I still enjoyed your song a lot
I'm always a fan, and I do commend you on the new approach. It's just, from usual, the tuning doesn't seem as amazing as it was. And, just my opinion, the lyrics kind of get old. This still is a pretty delightful song, nonetheless.
I think Gumi's well tuned, especially since I got the chance to work around with her. Though her pronunciation is good, her words are so choppy. I think she was tuned to fit this style of music, but I don't really know because I only ever got to hear Steam's tuning for her in The Logical Pink Gizmo and the Gingerbread Man (?? I think I forget) and Dysmorphiac, and her voice is kind of blurred out. Anyway, that's just my opinion, i'm not going "omg she is the best and u shut up" just so we're clear ^^
Of course you won't, it's your opinion. Just like I voiced mine, you can voice yours. In Dysmorphiac, she seemed much clearer, to me at least. From my experience with Gumi, she takes quite a while to perfect. Thanks for your input ^-^
I love how Gumi's soft vocals contrasts Sweet Ann's deep voice.

gumi was made for more than one genre, although i don't think Internet Co realized Gumi would be used for Jazz, at least not her english bank.

Can y'all give me your interpretations of this songs meaning???
I think that the song doesn't have a concrete meaning. But from what i've interpreted from the lyrics, its about how inevitable the cycle of life and death is. This song meaning this to hard to find :3 But I love Ann voice :33
What is the meaning? Help please
JAAAZZZ! I'm totally digging this! (Although I wish it was mostly Gumi instead)
This may seem like an odd question to ask almost 7 years after the song's been published, but are you planning on releasing the song on newsgrounds at any point?
When ann says " in verbitam " I thought she said "imperfect Anne" lol get roasted gumi
The music is beautiful and delightful, and I honestly think sweet Ann really goes well with this style... Not so sure about Gumi... Idk what it is... But I still enjoyed your song a lot
Is it just me or does this sound like a villain song?
I Usually don't like steampianist but this was really good

I like it 😊😁😁
How can you get the instrumental version?!
I think so too!🖤🤍🖤
hello this song taught me that verbatim is NOT pronunced "ver-bah-tim"
I googled it and it’s v-uh-r-bay-tim... so not like the song hahaha
This is from the same guy that made Secrets of Wysteria.
Yeah, I Can See That.
Woah!!
Musica dos anos 30
I'm always a fan, and I do commend you on the new approach. It's just, from usual, the tuning doesn't seem as amazing as it was. And, just my opinion, the lyrics kind of get old. This still is a pretty delightful song, nonetheless.
Sweet ann, Gumi or both?
Gumi seems tuned with less effort, in my opinion. And Ann is harder to tune, from my experience.
I agree, it is a little boring. Gumi's tuning doesn't sound that bad to me, just like i said, a bit boring.
I think Gumi's well tuned, especially since I got the chance to work around with her. Though her pronunciation is good, her words are so choppy. I think she was tuned to fit this style of music, but I don't really know because I only ever got to hear Steam's tuning for her in The Logical Pink Gizmo and the Gingerbread Man (?? awesome song owo, but it is so creepy and idk why qAq
Usually I love Gumi , but I don't like how she sounds in this. Other than that , I kinda like this song.
what year would this have been from?
Luna Star
I would say somewhere from the late 40s to early 50s just by looking at the clothing and hairstyles. But I may be wrong.
Is there an instrumental version anywhere?
What does the song mean ?
how do i download
I love this song! :D One just little thing is that "verbatim" is supposed to be pronunced "vehr-bah-teem". Or is that how your say it in enlgish?
ChocolaTears according to clockworksinger, the lyricists, it can be pronounced as in ver-ba-tam
Thanks for the comment :D I just had never heard it :)
