I felt so sad seeing what really happened to this house I still remember I was on my 3rd grade I've seen this Mansion on metro Garden I was really amazed by the beauty of this mansion. I was planning to go there buti I don't have a chance to see it any more since it was already demolished. I want to thank you for uploading this video.

Paul Kemp actually asians really love meteor garden, it was popular all over asia. Seeing the mansion on that situation makes me feel sad. And you were right it was a cool place, they should renovate and make it a tourist spot in Taiwan so that Asian fans of meteor garden can come.

from google street view, im sure that this mansion was a studio area, impossible there is a mansion with main hall room located very closed to main street without any privacy because there is no wall fence , from the main street, i can see those double stairs, huge pillars :v and quite sure that this "mansion" aren't the mansion that always pictured at early screen as Dao Ming's mansion with building tower, lake , fountain and green yard in front.
Imosaff that mansion is really the same mansion in the series., they used two different settings, as for the front view of Dao ming si's house its in different place(Nantou Taiwan) and inside the house was that abandoned mansion in the video(New Taipei city)

Not sure, sorry... coordinates are 25.106726,121.642642 on Google Maps. you could probably check a map of Taipei bus routes. Be prepared for it to be a bit harder to get in than in this video though, have heard extra fences etc have been put up.

They dont have a choice but to abandoned it because it was hit by 2 earthquakes 2004 & 2008... And experts says it is very dangerous to still live there.
