    몇년전에 구입해서 신었던 알트라런닝화를 똑같은 신발을 유투브에 광고를 하면서 생산하질않는가 백방으로 노력해도 못사서 화가난다

    Recently have been curious about this brand and the zero drop concept. I asked a devotee what model would be an excellent introduction to the brand in the road category and he suggested this one. Well this week I have the Rebel V2, Adidas Adizero SL20, and the Atreyu Base Model V2 arriving so even shoe Koo Koo Bird me has to slow down some time. This is slotted for the future some months down the line. It's time to enjoy the wonderful collection I have!! As always Tim, thanks for the review.

      I enjoy running in them. My calves were a little sore after my initial run in them. I like their trail shoe the Olympus 4.0. is a bit of a tank but feels great out on the trails. Have a great day. Have fun with all of your upcoming reviews. Sounds like you have a bunch in the pipeline. Stay safe.

      @@RunTall Thanks, I hear a lot of comments on zero drop to the effect when you transition be careful how they effect your calves and Achilles.

      @@RunTall Picked up a pair of the Escalante 2.5 today at my local running shoe store as my intro to the brand and the zero drop feel. Review to follow.

    Great review, just bought a pair last night at my local running shop and about to head out the door for my first run in them. I’ve only been running about 2 years now so still learning but I will say they feel like a hug for my foot lol... can’t wait to get out with them

    Great review! I’ll definitely refer to your videos more in the future. I just bought a pair and I think I’m going to be very content relying on them for most of my miles.

    The altra paradigm shoe is a very confortable shoe, especially for me since I have a foot that is in the edge between D or EE size, just in the middle. So a D size is perfect with Altra paradigm.

      Awesome! I’m glad the Paradigm is working so well for you. Have a great weekend!

    Great stuff, Tim! I'm so interested in Altra shoes... Maybe Santa will bring me a pair to try out :) Have a great weekend!

      They are a nice shoe to run in. The balanced cushioning took me a couple miles to get use to but the feeling of ground contact was pretty darn nice. I think rotating these in from time to time will help make me a better runner. Thanks Brendon. Have a great weekend.

    I love love love the escalante, but let me tell you, the racer is on a different level. Take out all the frills of the upper to drop 2 ounces and what you have is my favorite daily trainer shoe! I do live in a hot climate year round, though, so the breathability in the winter is not a problem for me. I wear them without socks for shorter runs often!
    Side note: I was in the running store trying the escalantes and did not get the 2.5 for the sole fact that it did not have a hole for a runners knot, but the racers did.

      Also, Tim, I must say it is incredibly satisfying to see you run so properly in this shoe!

      I might have to give the racer a try. I've got other shoes coming already but maybe after the first of the year. I enjoy running in the Escalante. One of my favorite trail shoes is the Olympus 4 that I picked up earlier this year. Hey thanks for watching and have a great day.

    Hey Tim, I enjoy your reviews all year. Hope you land a pair of New Balance 1080 V11 very soon. I'm dying to learn of any changes to an already great daily trainer.

    Great review Tim. Can you please compare the Escalante to the Torin?

    can you compare this to Escalante Racer? very similar or?

      @RunTall  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't run in the Escalante Racer but it is a shoe that I've thought a lot about picking up. It's one that I'm really curious about. There are so many new running shoes that come out each year. Hey have a great day. Thanks for watching. Have a great day and stay safe.

    How would these help a flat footed person?

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi and thanks for watching and taking the time to ask the question. I have flat feet and because of that I over pronate. I'm pretty comfortable running in both stability and neutral shoes. What sets Altra apart is that they have balanced cushioning meaning that the offset from your heel to toe is the same. They do have arch support but your heel sets the same distance from the ground as your forefoot. I tend to strike the ground mid foot typically and these felt comfortable for me to run in. I don't think they'd be great for someone who heel strikes and over pronates. I did notice the first time running in them that my calves felt like they got more of a workout than usual. I didn't feel any extra benefit over other neutral shoes. I think these are a solid daily trainer for neutral shoe runners. For those who over pronate like I do, I get the max benefit from stability shoes that help to reduce or slow my pronation as I roll through my gait. Have a great day.
