It's better if you use bone in chicken, season and brown it, saute your veggies, then stew it until tender. Once tender, I pick the bone and skin out with tongs, the brown skin gives flavor and color, plus keeps your chicken from getting feathery and dry.

Made this and used all the vegetables for my family ,my kids loved the vegetables only difference is I made extra sauce/soup because 1 of my children like rice better than noodles and the extra worked good for his chicken, vegetables and rice. I also added a couple teaspoons of better than bouillon roasted chicken and used sea salt.Thank you!

Looks delicious! I think I could smell it through the screen!
Tips on cutting veggies: use a big chef’s knife and rest your non dominant hand on top of the knife toward the tip, but keep your fingers curled up. Use your dominant hand on the handle using a rocking motion as you move across the veggies. The knife should never leave the cutting board. For onions, cut in half, then lay the flat part onto the cutting board. Go in at an angle to make “triangles” if that makes sense. Then turn the cutting board 90 degrees, and using the same rocking method with the knife, cut the “triangle” or pie shaped slices into smaller pieces as desired. Please be sure to always keep your fingers curled up!! Chopping veggies is actually my favorite part!

I love the background music! It works really well especially when you're not talking! As for cutting up vegetables, I have a suggestion for you. There is an implement (I'm not sure what it's called) but it's a small hand chopper. you cut up big chunks of whatever vegetable you want and then the top has a plunger that you press down hard on. The blades inside not only cuts but turns the contents a little so that the next chop is not in the same place.

I haven't even heard of this until I came across it when I was looking for other recipe ideas for a chicken noodle soup/chicken soup. I might try a similar recipe but I'm not sure if I can use egg noodles since most of the ones I've found are made from wheat which I can't use.
As for cutting up vegetables- I find that watching other cooking channels has helped me better my own techniques. The way I used to cut up bell peppers- which was taught to me by every single woman in my family took forever. Then one day I watched Chef Gordon Ramsey and voila! a quicker way to cut up a pepper. However, I did get a little nervous watching the way you had your finger on the back of your knife. One of my grandmothers found me doing that one day and she yelled at me in both English and in French. Never did it again, lol.
Thank you for your video! It definitely helped with inspiring me to make something similar... it's just, I'm going to have to find a pasta that I can use for this recipe. Do you have any suggestions on a wheat free/gluten free pasta that is similar to egg noodles?

I cook this myself and it’s so easy and I’m from the southeastern part of Texas, to me it’s just not a soup kinda like a lighter not heavy Chicken & Dumplings ( you know dumplings you make with heavy flour?) I also find when we are not feeling well and don’t want much but don’t want soup this just hits the spot , I was just typing in chicken n egg noodles to see if anyone had them differently, 1st one I looked at was yours @ I’m fixing to go cook mine, 1st time I’ll ever use breast @ it’s November 2022 pandemic chicken prices$$$$$$$$$ I normally use a whole chicken 🐓 so can have plenty of left overs to eat later or freeze , but nice to see someone cooking if like I do just following my Cajun Grandma, I got all my cooking from her been cooking since I was old enough for her to put me on a stool and learn I was cooking full meals by myself at about 12/13 loved my MawMaw
