I don't think I was very clear. I'm sorry from Brazil and I speak English badly, in fact I write poorly. the carburetor needle starts well but after some time the engine starts to drown with excess fuel. when i dismount the carburetor to check i realize that the needle is stuck in the open position. It is possible that the needle seat is worn out. I used the Google translator once. Hahaha
Ok. If it was me I would make sure that the needle, the needle tip is in good order. Then I would check to see if there is any damage on the side of the needle or the channel that the needle runs up and down within is not damaged and nothing is sticking out or chaffing the two surfaces. Then, if this is ok. I might just invest in a new needle (for the sake of a few dollars) to see if this sorts out the problem. I would also make sure that the metering spring is strong enough to push down the metering needle. I would start there if it was me. I just also want to say that your Country looks wonderful when I see it on TV and You tube. I some day will travel there. I love Brazilian Jujitsu and my idol's are Marcelo Garcia and Royce Gracie. It is really nice to know people from your country are looking at my videos. thank you so much. Craig
so ... first I did exactly what you said I checked the needle. then I sanded the sides of the needle and the inner part of the seat with a very fine sandpaper. For about 40 minutes it worked. after that it got stuck again and drowned the engine .... I bought a new carburetor and put it in place. but after a while, maybe an hour showed exactly the same defect. I’m talking about an engine that I use in my kayak that’s exactly the same as a brushcutter… all the same… the only thing I changed was the propeler that I put on a little smaller. the engine turns a little faster and the kayak moves a little faster. but I do not believe that this increase in the motor rotation causes this defect of the needle to stick. I'm very happy that you understood me and liked Brazil. if you come here one day come to Fortaleza Ceará, here it is very good and has beautiful beaches and places and also the food is very good and cheap. I will be very pleased to meet you in person and take you for a walk around the good places. we will be talking. I'm glad Google exists. I can speak a little English because I have lived there in the USA, in New Mexico. but writing is much more difficult. thanks for answering me.

Your videos are very informative and you do a really good job of explaining the concepts.
Thank you..
Chain saw won't tick over? Do you have a video of this?
Well I do have this one that shows how to tune a chainsaw in general. Hopefully this will help. Craig . th-cam.com/video/74p9FLmIkkw/w-d-xo.html
