    Took it apart, there was too much slack in the needle end, so now ive adjusted its sensitivity to see if it opens properly

    Thank you for making the video. Do you have a video on how to adjust metering lever?

    two questions or comments. 1: do you ever see a primer bulb in the supply side- meaning all fuel must run thru primer. 2: I removed the screen from my walbro carb as fuel did not flow properly. I found a tiny droplet of water UNDER it -any insight?

    Working on a 96' GSX, and I think the replacement part is bent too far down, preventing the valve from opening around 3k RPM, and causing it to bog heavily and die after 3k RPM, but will go above 3k rpm if the choke is breifly tugged.

    On those "variable jet types with rotating barrel and needle down into tube, what is the starting screw position and with only one screw, what speed do you adjust it or all three, idle, mid and high and get best for all three?

      Hi. My next video should explain a lot about these carbs for you. It’s not ready quite yet as I’m still working in it and it’s detail, but it should be uploaded in about a week or two. It’s quite a large in depth video about them so it’s taking me some time to complete

    exellent video thanks for sharing !!!! does the metering diaphram pulse up and down with the pulse of the piston or does it pulse only when throttle is applied ?

      @danaschappell2779 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It works ONLY by the actions of the piston , Not the throttle -

    great video I'm struggling with a cagiva mito evo 1999 125 2 stroke. she bogs and dies when I pull clutch out in 1st gear even if I ride the clutch at 9000 rpm she bogs down after moving a couple of yards. from your videos I'm assuming maybe low screw is set wrong and restricting fuel so pull away is dead but ive adjusted and tried to ride so many times any ideas would be much appreciated

    I have an issue I hope you can help me with. I have a 2 cycle ice auger that will start but will not idle. I can keep it running with the throttle but when I close the throttle the engine will not idle and will stop. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

      Hi, thank you for your motivating comment, I really do appreciate it. Now, it sounds to me that your carburettor may need some tuning, that's providing there's no blockage inside and that the components are in good order of course. There could be many causes for your idling issues but generally it's caused by the need for some tuning. I do have a vid on carb tuning as well as there being some other great content on TH-cam from others already. I would start with setting the idling screw then go for the full tune up. It wont take long once you have seen one of these vids. I hope helps. Thanks again

      Thank you so much for your quick reply.
      This carburator is a Tecumseh fixed carb so it has no adjustments. I have replaced every part that can be. The only thing I can think of is possibly the inlet valve lever is either too high or too low. What are your thoughts? Thank you for insight. I really appreciate it.
