It is called the iosd mini sold by dji that stands for on screen display that shows things like height, distance, gopro video mode, etc. it's a component you install additional to the transmitter.

Correct me if I am wrong? You should NEVER EVER TURN ON A FPV RX OR TX WITHOUT ANTENNAS ON BECAUSE YOULL BURN IT UP CORRECT?

It's just a cheap 15 dollar light stand with a 5 dollar ball head. Got them both on Amazon.
