A few cosmetic issues but it fired up right away and sounds great. Would you be willing to help me with an accurate translation of a phrase or caption from English into Japanese? I'm creating decals to put on my '01 Vmax and don't trust Google translate.
@YMH工房 you're much better with English than I am with Japanese. I'm thankful that you're asking, so even if you're not able to help with my project, I'm grateful that you might try. I have a 2001 Vmax. I wish to make decals to put across the tank and fenders and want to try to honor the culture and spirit that produced this exquisite piece of machinery. I know only a little of what the Japanese people consider to be cool, but don't want to offend anyone or have something on my bike that's been mistranslated like so many tattoos people have gotten. I'm open to suggestions for a cool name or phrase. Don't laugh but i was thinking of maybe using the name of the horses warriors would ride into battle (the name escalate me right now). Perhaps something symbolic of precision and metal craftsmanship, but Katana is the name of another bike. I was thinking "Japanese Steel", or some other representation. A cool proverb also sounds work so long as it fits across the tank in just a few characters.
rely on google translate, somehow I understand what you want to say. You want the words on the decals to be cool japanese, like a 刀 or 隼. The Vmax catalog has the word 魔神 on it. This means that the pronounciation of 魔神 is the same pronunciation as machine. also, I think it has the meaning of being one and only. If I were to give you another candidate, the word "steel horse: 鉄馬" that you were thinking about would also apply. In addition, it may be good to have the character "鐵" in one character. it has the same meaning as 鉄, but in older letters. I think this one looks so cool.
@YMH工房 I cannot tell you how much i appreciate your help. Google translate says these characters 魔神 mean "devil". Is that accurate? Does this 鉄の悪魔 translate accurately as "iron devil"? I'm also considering パワー、精度、完璧 which Google translate as "power, precision, perfection" Is there another single phrase, maybe something more traditional that says the same thing?
"悪魔" means devil, and there is a slight difference between a 悪魔 and a 魔神. 魔神 is like a devil, like a god,it has the nuance of a special existence. 鉄の悪魔 goes well with iron devil. If you express the word power in one cool letter, there is also a character called 豪. The meaning of this letter, excellent in strength and intellect. 精度 完璧 are difficult to express in one word. Words with a similar meaning to 精度, → 精巧 精緻 there are these 完璧 → 完全無欠 I like the word 鐵. It's pronounced KUROGANE, and it feels like HAYABUSA. I think there are other good words, but I can only help you with this due to my lack of knowledge.
おぉぉ、VMAXかっこいい!
是非とも公道に復活させてあげてください!
コメントありがとうございます!
結構自分流にいじるのでVMAX感は薄れそうですが、頑張って復活させます!
Vmax

Thank you for your comment.
I'm not very good at English, what kind of translation should I do?

Vmax
