Thank you, I have felt a little better in general since I started walking nearly every weekend. Good for the mind as well as the exercise. Thank you for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. All the best, Webby 👍
Hi Andy beautiful footage of Caernarfon castle, one of our favourite castles and Dinas Dinlle is soo lovely and noisy with the airport ! You had lovely weather for this walk and captured it all beautifully as always 👍~ Anna
Thank you, Anna, it was such a beautiful place, I do love the castle, we will have to visit it when we have more time. The beach was beautiful and the airport was a nice rest stop, we enjoyed our cakes and coffees there watching the planes taking off. I can't wait to get back and see more of the mountains and visit Trefor. Thank you for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. All the best, Andy 👍
Wow andy the views of the castle are spectacular ❤wgat a beautiful place by the water, i bet it was amazing in its day. The coastal walk was so nice and peaceful, the water looks perfectly still. Very nice winter day. I loved seeing the bridge open.
The castle was stunning, and the water on the Menai Strait was so calm and relaxing. Really enjoyed walking this section of coast path, minus the road bits. Thank you for watching, All the best, Andy 👍
Great video as always. Yours are the best because they are so detailed and interesting. Other TH-camrs cover 50 miles in 5 minutes and you feel like you are just watching fragments, but with yours, it feels like we are experiencing the entire walk. Thanks for sharing Andy.
Ive said to Webby before that his vids are so good they could be used by Wales Tourist Board so agreeing with you there but as a fellow you tuber and Ive met Webby on the trail I have to defend myself .Im normally 15 or 16 miles in 25 to 30 mins!
Thank you, Mark, I'm glad you are enjoying the videos, but to be fair, I can't walk as far as most so I have to put more content in to make my videos 20 minutes or longer, I try and film as much as I can whilst on each walk, coast path or otherwise, but I do enjoy all the other videos of the coast path walks on here to as they are all individually styled, and with some of the others you get the commentary which I personally like to listen to, Thank you though, I was worried I put to much sometimes as I don't walk as far as most on each trip, but it shows we all do it differently and anyone can walk this trail and do as much or as little as they like. Thank you for watching and your nice comments.PS I can vouch that @SmithyGolfandSmithyWalks is a great watch, and he's a thoroughly nice guy. 👍 All the best, Webby 👍
Thanks for the reply. My original comment was not supposed to belittle anyone else. It was just intended as a compliment to you for putting in so much detail. I look forward to the next episode. Yes, I'm sure that @SmithyGolfandSmithyWalks is a nice guy. I will have to check him out sometime. Best wishes for 2024.
@@markshaw9342 Mark I was just taking it in jest mate . Like Webby .I watch everyone elses videos on the Wales Coastal Path and most I like but the odd one I dont like. No controversy from me whatsoever .I think your comment was particularly valid and what sort of vids you prefer. So wasnt taking the hump at all just putting a wee jokey reply about 16 miles in. 25 mins.
Cracking vid Webby. Really took me back to walkimg this atage. I loved the part from Caernarfon along the Menai Strait. Then crossing the bridge on to the embankment towardas tge airport and along the beach at Dinas Dinlle. Kind of blocked out the long road sections. I turned right after the plant garage in Pontllyfni down to beach then along to where you parked your car.
Thank you Smithy, yes an enjoyable walk to Dinas Dinlle. We were going to take the beach path but was not sure at the time if it would lead us back to where we parked the car. We were a bit tired bt then and did not want to have to turn back. I enjoyed the views of the mountains from the main road, just did not enjoy the lane out of Dinas Dinlle to the A499. A much shorter walk to Trefor next to make the section after it manageable we think. I have added your videos to my website from your coast path and made it like a little playlist. Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. All the best, Webby 👍
@@WebbysWalkscheers Webby. Ive been stuck in with flu .need to build my strength up golfing again before Aberdaron to Abersoch .20 miler lol. @SmithyGolfandSmithyWalks Yes, it's good to do different walks, and it keeps me interested by doing a different path each week. Look forward to seeing what you get up to.
Another stunning walk, with FAB views, this section is very odd? because you had to walk most of it way inland along main roads, now I have looked on the map, and I do not see why the authorities could not have made a path along the beach? there is not military stuff? or problem land (well it dos'nt look like anyway?), would have been so much easier a 5 mile direct route from Dinas Dinlle to Aberdesach, those main roads were busy?, anyway great vid.
Thank you, I'm not sure why we could not have walked along the beach from Dinas Dinlle to Aberdesach. I was tempted to try it but worried that if we encountered an obstacle along the way like a river or something, and we would have to walk back, it would not be fun. Once we crossed the river on the main road at Pontllyfni, there were public footpath signs on both sides of the river heading towards the sea. So I presume there is a public path. Maybe one day they will change it, really did not like the lane out of Dinas Dinlle, it was narrow, bendy and quite busy in parts. Thank you for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. All the best, Webby 👍
What a beautiful and tranquil walk…. That one must of been particularly good for the soul. Top video Webby ….Smithy
