As a flight attendant I found I was always tired and waiting for the crew scheduling phone calls! Tired was my middle name. People think it is such a glamorous life, but you portray it like it is......waiting, waiting, and hurry up and wait! lol

The life of a Flight Attendant and I have gone through that for so many years...When I was on reserve, when I first started, things were like that...I always would bring books and magazines to read...And yes, I brought my laptop for music and other work. You take care and I hope you get home safe...

Working 12 hr night shifts at the hospital made it ridiculously easy for weight to slip on. Wearing scrubs and pajamas made it easier not to notice and one day you go to put your nice jeans on they are way too snug! I remember getting new girls who would ask what time they should eat their "lunch" lol Granted, getting to actually sit and eat a meal was rare and even more so on nights with no managers to look out and try and make you get breaks.

i find it funny how when I was covering a LGA trip out of DFW... they put me in the same hotel in LGA and sat at the same exact table as you downstairs at the restaurant. little happiness & encouragements from a senior flight attendant from the same company ;)

I know some people have negative aspects about being an FA but watching your videos makes me so inspired since youre always happy being a flight attendant. Flight attendant is my dream job ever since I was a kid and I am graduating this year from high school and i cannot wait to be on the field and work like you!

Well, you're the pro, but, at 10 pm at night with a 5ish wake up call for the Dallas deadhead - I would have had some water or Gatorade and a granola bar and gone to sleep. Going down to have a salad and soup and edit and be in bed by 12:15 am or so, seem counterproductive to your need for more sleep.

It's weird that they cancel so many flights when you got like... 10 inches of snow. We keep our airports running and flights on time on blizzard, wind and way much more snow. At least you got a free night at a hotel ! :)

Ugh crash pads. Hated them. The first Airline Ai worked for I was on reserve and based in BOS and had a crash pad. There was 3 FAs in the crash pad that included myself we didn’t get along. The second Airline I worked for I held a line right after training so I didn’t need one. I liked weather days could catch up with people that I rarely got to see

Could be worse, you could be ground/airport crew and have to deal with irate customers with delays :p (my husband is a ramp manager at our airport).

Hey Stella! You don't talk about the uniforms much. Are they comfy? Especially when you have to sit in the crew lounge with it on... Also do you have to pay out of your pocket to get the uniform pieces? I saw there is a new blue jacket you guys can wear?
When you work for Marriott and can just tell by the key card and decorations that this was probably a Courtyard by Marriott lol
I do have to ask have you ever had it to where if your stranded like us passengers at the airport to where you have to spend the night at the airport and if so do they get you cots like they do for us sometimes? Take care and have a great day!
