    1. Report it to your debit card bank if that is how you paid and tell them you refute the charge. OR 2. Report it to your credit card company and do the same as above. CC companies and banks hate being scammed out of your money also...3. Report the scammer to your consumer protection bureau in your town/state/county. Put him on blast on every online chat! You will get your money back one way or another; no matter what they threaten they may do to you! The scammers always pick on those they believe will do nothing to get back at them. Any non disclosure form/agreement/exploitation is invalidated by the theft they committed! Good luck! And BTW to anyone reading this there is no silver bullet or magical potion to selling your art! No way no how and there is an old saying' those that can't do, teach! and 4. Finally sue the rat for every penny in Small Caims Court or at your Civil Court depending on the amount you can sue for in that jurisdiction! I know this sucks but being out of pocket sucks even more in my opinion. NO ONE should be taken advantage of period! He'll get his one way or another! Thank you for sharing your story.

More than just a B, she was racist and classist. If I made a video about the owner of a chain of _dildo stores_ in a major city and she thought that B sounded like her, then she’d have to admit to recognizing her own actions in the story, and admit to being a total B in order to sue. Once in the course, the material was dripped out over months. As I got further along, I realized there was little value in the content. I was hopeful that there would eventually be enough content and usefulness to warrant the cost. Sadly nowhere near. I love your advice about seeking out artists and getting direct feedback from them if they have completed the same course. There are so many scams for everything right now, not just for artists. thank you for this vid. well, there are so many scammers out there, - but to be serious, I do not understand in the slightest why these scammers are so successful - I do of course understand that these days, people jump on this "opportunities " to become rich with their art. There is nothing wrong with this, I mean the starving artist - may not need to be the reality anymore. But there is NO SUCH THING, like quick success in the art world. At least not when we talk about serious collectors, really good money for a piece of art etc. - if you see something like this, than someone had someone who paid huge sums to a Galerist, PR Agency bought social media followers, and so on.
It took me over 10 years, until this one serious collector came along, bought my work, and of course as it is in his interest - he startet the ball rolling. Being an artist is hard work, the life on an artist has nothing to do with this "lazy picture" of getting out of bed not before 2 pm, than getting stoned and laying on the studio floor trying to find inspiration....its actually hard work, and there is no quick fix for success...

It was basically lots of design briefs with v little instruction and absolutely masses and masses of filler and repeat content. The people running it are very wealthy and their business model seems to be about selling art and ither dreams as a career possibility to everyone. There is so much of this going on these days. I took one of these courses and thankfully it wasn't in the amount that you spent but it promised similar results about teaching you how to sell your art but all it really was was a beginner's course on how to build a portfolio and not a very detailed one at that. They even had students from that session be small group leaders so we didn't even have a working artist teaching us outside of the main videos and the small group part was an extra we paid for optionally! I know absolutely nothing about how much people are willing to spend these days on original works of art. If the people in the market are looking for investment in art as a way of dodging taxes or dodging the economic ups or downs or what.
Creating art is a time and material investment and that to me would be the starting point for how to appraise a work of art.
And it seems to me that getting it sold as quickly as possible is the best return on investment.
How would I, a no talent idiot sell my art?
I would collaborate with other artists, rent a venue and do some advertising and have an impromptu art gallery and sale, en masse...collectively.
All the costs of the event transparent, and the booking known to all...and having no event until a critical mass of artists and art was there to present. Then advertise it.
Then when people show up, let them haggle...andif more than two or three people want it, let them bid.
It is only worth as much as people are willing to pay for it.
