    I would like to mention that the Twin bagger will suck up the leaves but not the freshly cut grass. I have a 54 zero turn SD Raptor heavy duty mover. I have having all kind of issues with it throwing the top belt.

    Nice video. I've got an older JD rear engine 30" with a similar system. I keep it around for occasional leaf collection alternative to mulching. Tube on your's look larger. Mine will clog when leaves are heavy and they have to be dry.

      yea this system will clogg also ..you got to be smart ...cant cut 10 inch grass down to 3 inches and expect it to bag ...got to bring down first ...these type of systems have limitations...it doesnt have a seperate motor

      @@SupremeServicesLawnCare how do it work with leaves and how is the sucking power?

    It's always nice to have a bagging option in your stable.

      Yep, but it seems that the two blade deck seems to bag better than the three blade. The two are bigger and provides better vacuum for the system.

  • @kcscott3860
    @kcscott3860 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Not mentioned in Video: Blades - they give you 2, but you only install the blade marked for your deck size on the discharge (right in manual) side. Also, due to the lower chute dislodging regularly, I drilled new holes to increase tension. This isn't a great design, I only use it on leaves in fall. Also takes up a lot of room so it's on then off after leave season

    I spend the 800 bucks on the twin bagger and it was not worth the extra expense. I eventually had to make a couple of extra holes to get it to suck up the grass. Talking about having to adjust the tube? It is totally worthless and if there is moisture....the grass will not make up into the bags.

    Did you have to buy the bagger/mulcher kit to attach it to the deck or it all comes with the bagger assembly

    Does anyone know if there are any other bagger systems that would work for the Hustler Raptor 52

  • @joannreckling4015

    Wondering if anyone has had a problem with this not working? Very expensive attachment and it just doesnt work! Watched your video and we have it set up exactly as you do. The grass clippings get caught right at the bottom of the lower tube and packs up tight in there, then after that it just doesnt suck them up anymore. Never goes all the way up the tube to the bags. Your video doesnt address the blades that come with it, wondering if they have anything to do with it? Also, do you need to have the engine revved up all the way as high as possible for this to work? What about height of the deck, does that play a part? Any advice you could give?

    • @SupremeServicesLawnCare
      @SupremeServicesLawnCare  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have alot of videos of this bagger in action ..i have never had any of those issues and for $600 it is one of cheapest you can get ..scag is $1300 and ariens/gravely $1000 ...do you have ultra high lift blade on correct...whst i did though is a run 2 copperhead high lifts blades on works great ...

      OK awesome thanks for getting back to me so quick, I'm so frustrated with this bagger! Can I get those blades off Amazon and are they specific for Hustler Predator or are they generic? I have the 42". I kinda feel the local dealer is ripping me off on pricing items, plus he's given me the wrong parts twice for different issues. Any idea why all the grass gets caught at the neck of the bottom tube? Can this not be used with damp grass? I'm in Oregon. It's NEVER not damp grass. Sorry for so many questions, last one. Does it matter what height I mow at? Love your channel, sitting here on a Sunday morning just watching all I can learn on this mower I've had for 3 years! Thanks a bunch!

    Nice video my man.
    Btw I'm just getting started in the game, I have a Toro proline 44 walk behind. Most lawns I have and will have will be small from 1/7 acre to 3/5. In my situation would you recommmed a walk behind or like a 44 to 48 zero turn.
    I had an offer to sell the walk behind for $800, and I saw a Husqvarna rzt 48 for $1200 on CL. However it seems like walk behind is more versatile.
    Any opinion would be appreciated

    • @SupremeServicesLawnCare
      @SupremeServicesLawnCare  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      hey buddy ..yea it seems like for you a walk behind would be a better choice wth a sulky ...i would try to get a hydro if possible ...belt drives are a pain in butt ...BUT asyou grow ur going to have to get a ztrn ...they cover so more more ground and take less of a tole on body ...but yea you have the right idea for now ...but eventually a zrtn is a much better choice

      as long as you don't tow nothing with it.i use multching blades or gator blades to do away with the bagging system,chop the leaves in to a powder or small small pieces.its about the best deal for financing, good price with commercial grade strength frame,life time warranty on the frame, usually a 5 year hustle warranty.you will get a better quality, commercial strength frame of steel. better than the adverage box stores such as home Depot, Walmart.you will get more from hustler product for your money but won't have to spend thousands to have commercial strength material on a product such as hustler..,IAM thinking about buying another one

  • @bgarcia856
    @bgarcia856 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    This video made me get this bagger. Do not get this bagger if you have a 54 inch. It clogs the deck and can't shoot across 3 blades and still have velocity to bag.

    Rear tires for hustler 48 inch mower

    So I got a question for you. I cut multiple lawns and hopefully next year I can expand and get more. Is the hustler raptor considered a "residential mower" but how do you like it? does it hold up to the many lawns you cut and the commercial abuse? I would get a 42 inch deck as homes where I'm at are mostly 1/2 and 1/3 acres. However, I'm not sure there's a Hustler dealer around my house. There's a Kubota dealer instead near my house so I would probably get one of them but how has this held up? Any problems? I would buy new because of warrantys and piece of mind. Thank you for your help.

    • @SupremeServicesLawnCare
      @SupremeServicesLawnCare  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      for you it would be fine... it's done well they always have done well ...thin with these zero turns is the frame n deck on just about any mower will last forever.. it's the engine and pumps that take the abuse . the ezt 2200 pumps are amazing.. hydro gear really changed the game with these pumps ...tho they max out at 7mph ..they are good dependable trans ...the 2 engines out on most mid grade mowers the Kohler 7000 and kawi are both great engines so ur going to get them for what ever mower you buy in this category...

    • @SupremeServicesLawnCare
      @SupremeServicesLawnCare  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      that's why I bought this mower.. the extra 1500 to $2,000 for some of these more commercial mowers aren't really more commercial the only difference is the pumps ...so 1,500 to $2,000 for the ZT 2800 pumps to make you go 0.5 to 1 mile per hour faster wasn't just worth it in my book. . good luck buddy

    • @SupremeServicesLawnCare

      but Bill as I was saying in a couple past videos.... dealer support is the most important ...my dealer is a wackadoo.... does good work but unreliable...

    • @billd5211
      @billd5211 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Supreme Services Lawn Care thank you for the clarification, I was wondering the differences and now I feel better about making a decision to buy one. For me extra speed isn't worth it, it will be fast enough. And the nice part about these being a lower cost is you can beat the snot out of it ( not really buy you know what I mean) and it can get payed off so much quicker than something more expensive. Thank you again and have a great weekend!

      @billd5211 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Supreme Services Lawn Care I just found a dealer nearby my house so would you recommend one of these or a small Kubota zero turn? Have you had experience with them? Also do these Hustlers stripe nice?

    How much do u Charge your customers for bagging leaves?

    • @SupremeServicesLawnCare

      @adamlipscomb6459 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Supreme Services Lawn Care do u charge your customers by the hour or by the job?

    • @SupremeServicesLawnCare
      @SupremeServicesLawnCare  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Adam Lipscomb you can are you sure should I go by our and by how many leaves I don't really remove too many leaves from the property believe it or not I use my bagging system mainly to pick up the mulch leaves and then put in the woods are put in a couple garbage cans but I don't remove leaves in bulk there's really no need to the way that these mowers mulch down leaves and you're blown and some you pick up and distribute in other areas

    • @302vettelife2
      @302vettelife2 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The skinny ones are standard on the 42 (so you can get inside gates). You can purchase wide wheels and tires on the popular online sites. The size is 20x12.00-10. cost is about 200 for wheels and tires for both sides. Nice upgrade.
