    Once the Magnaclean filter is fitted you could always use the magnacleans system to flush it 👍, much easier than a power flush

    • @cputilitysolutions

      Yeah but I still prefer to powerflush as I find it's more effective 👍🏾

      power flush machine is much better, stronger pump and bi-directional flow, not even close in effectiveness

    we have to have any loose fill insulation tested for asbestos before we go near it.

    Hello bud, how do you isolate the flow and return?

    This boiler is really expensive if you need to replace the gas valve

    Mate that boiler install, you said there was a 1mbar drop on gas line. on a new installation that yous carried out, your allowed zero drop, so that should of been investigated. Just for future reference.

    • @BenFinch-xn5hx

      Thought that only on a new gas run you had zero drop not existing gas run?

    • @cputilitysolutions

      That's if it was tested with appliances isolated, or if I'd done a completely new gas run. It was tested with appliances connected and it was the same before and after

    • @Purebeltersteve

      @@BenFinch-xn5hx but youve carried out work by redoing the gas run under boiler so youve redone part of the gas run. So in theory, you dont know unless youve the gas sniffer on the new soldered joints as leak detection fluid only good for schrader valves lol

    • @Purebeltersteve

      Basically because theres no point of isolation between where the gas pipe was cut and the boiler, the whole pipework is now a new installation as the pipe from where it comes out of the wall to the new appliance has been added. All i would of done is replaced the meter union washers as its more than likely there that has the leak. seen it loads. Got to remember, gas leaks are only going to get worse not better and if it comes to, god forbid, something happening and that install was the last time someone was there, the solictors would eat you up in court as they are clever buggers. Just trying to help fellow gas engineers out and get the standards raised.

      @@cputilitysolutions again if that boiler is the only appliance in the property you pretty much know its not on the appliance, its on the pipework as youve installed a new appliance.
