I liked hearing your thoughts on this thing! The lower FPS is so confusing! Back in 2016, the Khaos hit 90's on 6 alkaline batteries! The Perses hits over 100 on its 9.6 volt rechargeable! If only this blaster included a rechargeable battery!
Nothing about this model stands out over it's stablemates, it just seems a little underwhelming. The blue and yellow colour scheme is ok, but it's otherwise aesthetically challenged. Perhaps if it had a stock of some kind attached and that awful yellow rail on top were removed, it wouldn't look so bad. It a weird mix of steampunk and 1960s psychedelia. 😵💫
The 9.6V was a must. I love mine with that set up. I swore I did something wrong modding it when mine jammed. It's just manufacturer defect. That gummy feeling of the trigger is the pusher sliding across the next round. It's double sprung to help assist it to not do this, but it isn't strong enoungh. Other rival blasters cycles fine idk how they screwed that up.
Like why use the word "like" like that? Do you like "like"? Is it quite like something, but unlike something else? How likely are you to use the word "like" in a likable fashion? 😂
I was pretty astounded when this dropped without support for any of the previous Rival rechargeable options. I'm not shelling out the cost of 8 AAs for mediocre performance - I'll stick with my Hera. Also FYI, that swiveling bar on the front is NOT a sling point; if you hook a sling to it, it will eventually break off because it's not tied into anything. Those are for attaching your team flags to so people can see which team you're on. That's why they're so common on Rival blasters that don't have red/blue variants (but not on all of them... because reasons?).
@@maritimefoam I don't blame you, I very much wish they were. If I didn't know any better I'd say Hasbro somehow has stock in single-point slings with how often they give us a rear sling point but not a forward one. I've had to paracord jerryrig many a front sling point in this hobby - it rarely looks good, but at least I'm not getting nailed in my nether regions every 3 steps.
I'm looking forward for attachments for this and trying out something lying around in the mean time seen worker has a butt stock that looks like it'll fit off a gel blaster
Something wrong with both of them? That get exactly the same results? I kinda doubt it, more likely we live in different climates, maybe humidity affected it or something, I dunno.
@@maritimefoam i saw maybe like a 3 to 5 fps increase between 9v to the 12v which doesnt make any sense with a 3v increase i would think realistically maybe 10 to 15fps maybe
The challenger challenged my mentality

I've noticed a lot of inconsistency between these new Rival blasters, some people are having problems, and some aren't, it's really odd

Makes me wonder why the magazinewell is backwards.
Like, why? For what reason? We cannot live in a world of chaos!
Haha, I’m not sure… maybe it would make sense if I opened it but it’s a weird one…

@@another3997 yeah, sorry, English is not my native language. I'm quite good at it but not perfect, so some errors may slip in.
You should do a test on different brands of batteries
Happy to keep my 3S Lipo Hera handy... :)
Good review.
Thanks!
I have one. Haven't put it over the Chrono. I have the same criticisms as you. Kinda had buyers remorse.
Yeah... I think once I change the battery source it will be ok... but I was disappointed. Would trade both for one more charger. :P

Ohhhhh, good to know. Weird since they aren’t really used much. I just assumed flimsy weird stock point haha.

Mine fires around 95 FPS. Not sure what’s going on with this one.
Both of mine were 86 fps max, new batteries
@@maritimefoam - that’s really strange. I do like the Hera better.

Props for talking about the box! I miss people doing that
Something wrong with urs. Mine gets about 90 to 95 fps.

@@maritimefoam I've heart many different results from different sources. Just like the Mirage there's many inconsistencies between products
Mine does 95FPS.
Great review! Love seeing the game play!
Where can I buy it
Got mine at a Walmart in the US :)
@@maritimefoam hey, for that 9.6V battery you made for the nemesis, can I buy the battery and just remove the Tamiya plug and attach the XT60?
What im hearing is this thing is basically elite performance out of rival
A little above, but it doesn’t really outperform 9v rival even though it’s 12v
