I don't think most of you know how big Friday is, it is one of a few megahits during Kpop "heyday". Maybe now BTS and Black pink dominate the West, but the East still miss the good old songs.
It makes me happy to hear that Koreans still love this song. I was obsessed with this song when it first came out. I miss the simplicity that IU's old music videos used to have, even though her newer music videos are basically mini-movies. The melody of this song perfectly captures the sugary sweetness of romance and combined with the chill instrumentation that you can snap your fingers to, it's just one of the best songs ever.
