Well, technically the Off the Hook gear was accurare. It was just Octo-expansion -accurate, instead of their default costumes.

Like how the hero armor from s1 had two variations. Or like how now in s3 you can chose either “genders” amiibo gear for all the past amiibos ( ex the school outfits or a BETTER example pearls crown.

It has been ages. The only new “announced” amiibo recently were the ToTK amiibo.
I’m not going to count Sora as a brand new announcement because fmpov it wasn’t an announcement. It was “initially” revealed back in 2019, (which is crazy to think about), but we learned we would be getting new Smash characters and thusly new amiibo, and the schedule would follow accordingly
