You do a brilliant job on these vehicles sealing protecting from rust etc. I just wonder why you don't paint the chassis .. Galv does corrode with salt. diesel, mud as happened to one I repaired recently . The galv on the underside of the rear chassis rails looked to be well galved but had not fused to the metal so the chassis rusted to a hole under the galv traces of rust runs alerted the owner . A light tapping revealed the corrosion. I have seen others with rust coming through after a few years in the wet and salty environment. For the look of originality as they left the factory gloss black. Protection, and not attracting thieves we always paint ours inside and out. Keep up the good work of saving these icons Phil
I really like these patina rebuilds. They don't all have as nice of a patina as that but I love that you guys keep it if they do.

Does the galvanising extend into the inside of the chassis? Just wondering if it’s hot dipped or electrolytic galvanised
