The thing is gorgeous- too perfect to take off the road where they are meant to be...so, besides driving to the store wishing you were on safari, what's it good for? I take out my '71 2A , give her a good thrashing out in the woods, and we come back with smiles on our faces. They are little beasts.

Stunning. I would appreciate an answer to this question, please. Are those colors LRC006 Marine Blue and LRC007 Limestone, on the body and wheels respectively?

Stunning! ....I am now embarking on just such a project here in Trinidad, it's presently stripped down to the chassis. Are those colors LRC006 Marine Blue and LRC007 Limestone, on the body and wheels respectively?

This is a later IIA with the correct wire grille.

i am quite sure thats not the original engine. Or at least head

Why would you say that? Can you see the block casting date in the video?

@@mikesandone2652 yeah I am actually wrong. I thought I was watching the NAO 109 video and noticed the head was not a HC head that was fitted to all military trucks

@@Rover4387 Ah got it. Yes we usually try to keep the original short block. We do change the early heads out to later ones because we shave them to 9:1 compression and the early heads are not great castings for that.

I agree, it’s basically a kit car at this point, they may use some of the body and redo the driveline but everything else is new,
