Good to find a channel focused on UK home mining. A couple of mates and I are planning to start our adventure with the Canaan Avalon Nano so I’m well pleased I found your vid. Hoping I can find a way to cool the thing down as I’m in a flat.
Welcome aboard! Get them all to join the discord so we can grow the UK numbers. So far I would only recommend not having it on the highest setting if you want it to last
Got mine at the start of June and ordered mid April I think! They're quite good keeping you updated with batch numbers. I had my tracking number for a week before I was shipped so don't worry if it takes a while
@@BlueBearCrypto ahhh nice I ordered on the 26th April. So hopefully soon 😄 this is my entry into mining. I’m selling all all crypto this bull to buy some big miners. Fingers crossed retire in 10 years
Could you please reveal how to configure this Miner for BITCOIN CASH? Is it just a matter of Configuring the Mining Pools that accommodate BCH or is there something else which needs to be done?
@@BlueBearCrypto Could you please make a short on how to set it up to mine BCH? I plan to do this too once my Nano 3 comes in. I understand how to enter the pool info but am unclear on how to enter the BCH address in the Avalon remote app. Thanks!
@@deviousme0234 the difference with the KS0 pro is the nano blows the air out at a decent rate pushing it across the room. The KS0 pro just gets hot as it doesn't really expel the hot air. A 750 watt heater would generate a lot more heat for sure. The better comparison would be a 140 watt heater, which would be about the same heat wise, but you'd benefit from the mining aspect with the nano

@@BlueBearCrypto understood BB. Will get on to discord as well
When did yours arrive? I have July also 3 units coming so hopefully soon. 🎉

@@ashsmith-jh2vt definitely decide when you're going to sell beforehand. Or else you'll watch it go all the way up then down like most of us!
@BlueBearCrypto the question I have is,......Is it possable to get 4 of these and get all of them in the same pool?
If you solo mine all on the same pool to the same wallet address then yes, you'd stack the hashrate of all of them together
@@BlueBearCrypto I am a newbie, that would make a killer video
@@traviskelly7082 I have a quick short on how to connect to a solo pool with the Avalon, you'd just have to do the same for each one
@@BlueBearCrypto ok I have 3 on the way I will look for your vid

You just find a pool that mines bitcoin cash specifically. Let me know if you're still struggling and I can make a short for you

Interesting miner and have you hit a block yet?
Not hit a block yet. Chances are very slim but it will be a nice payout if it happens!
is it possible to warm up your house with it in the winter?
It will definitely make the room warmer but as it's only 140watts it won't replace home heating if it gets too cold
@@BlueBearCrypto but like you said its more heating than ks0 pro? Can u comparise it with a heating convector of 750watt?
