i was not understanding the camera function, you explained it really well. rather than moving the player to the next section of the map you move the map bbackwards to the player. awesome work!
Sorry to necro an old video, but im having problem with making the camera move with the edge of the box. It works for the left and up side, but bottom and right side doesnt work (box.x2 and box.y2), nothing happens. I've checked my code like 10 times and it's exactly the same as yours. Did something changed in newer versions? Thanks!
you explained very well various options for the camera, but at the end the player just can't move further than the "box"... so if there's something by the wall, or at the edge of the screen, how can we move the player to that?...
I felt this video was too loose and although it explained the meaning of certain code, it meandered back and forth and I lost the point of what we were doing.
