In the late 70's my parents only car was a 64 with bad wiring. They had an offer from a company called BeetleBoards to repaint the car and cover it with Kool cigarette marketing, i think they paid them $20 a month until the company went out of business. They were 20 years ahead of their time marketing.
are those real movie props with the steering in the back or are they remakes. My favorite thing about Herbie is the extra wide smoothies it always had on all 4 wheels. Back when I was a kid I always wondered why it had such a wide stance.
Imagine just coming out of a pub , bumping into one of the self driving Herbies being like “I didn’t think I had that many!”

Several cars owned by a huge Herbie collector in the Netherland, one VW Museum, and other owned by several collectors in Europe.

as much as the herbies blow me away.....so do the car carriers out there. OMG they are just too cool. Not like the rickety old things around here.
