The've given him opportunities but there were times when he would pull out or wasn't ready to fight for the title for whatever reason. Colby wants people to kiss his feet. That's the problem. Nobody is treating him bad, and if they are, it's justified backlash due his disrespectful behavior.
The reason they couldn't fire him that day was imagine if after he beat Damien Maia. He goes to Bellator and fights Rory MacDonald. That UFC couldn't let him do that. But now that they stripped his interim belt he gets payed peanuts again and they shelfed him.

No disrespect of course because both these guys have been the best, and have fought everyone, i mean every great fighter in any class near them so the records are deceiving in a way because all opponents are world champs for the last 5 years, just Colby needs to fight records like his, the guys who haven't lost much and in the top tiers.
This is a refreshing interview; well done Adam! After seeing the interview yesterday, which was filled some so many antics (not answering the questions, "reading a book", etc), this interview gives me more appreciation about who Colby is and what his PR strategy is. Good for him to play this role in the UFC; much of it is an act. He's just executing his business in a sport to "entertain". Best wishes to him this weekend.
Usman, and Colby are similar fighters, and similarly the UFC had no interest in pushing either of them Colby turned heel, Usman didn't..... we'll see what happens next.

Yeah, actually it's clear that the UFC doesn't like Colby's support of President Trump. They basically took away his interim title and didn't give him a title shot, because Usman is managed by one of the higher ups at WME (now called Endeavor). Endeavor's primary owners are democrats, and don't like Trump. Colby has serious balls to keep supporting Trump, knowing that it has hurt his career. It might end up being even better for him now, because he held his ground.
It was awesome watching the fans go crazy over something that they shouldn't. Brazil is a dump. They always promote Brazil on the travel chanel as something amazing. But most of the places there the cops won't even go there because it's ran by gangs. Brazilian is not a race but a hair cut.

The've given him opportunities but there were times when he would pull out or wasn't ready to fight for the title for whatever reason. Colby wants people to kiss his feet. That's the problem. Nobody is treating him bad, and if they are, it's justified backlash due his disrespectful behavior.

The reason they couldn't fire him that day was imagine if after he beat Damien Maia. He goes to Bellator and fights Rory MacDonald. That UFC couldn't let him do that. But now that they stripped his interim belt he gets payed peanuts again and they shelfed him.

Colby has to back up all this trash talk, if he beats usman then he will finally be taken serious, after rda and Lawler he is legit, but they are past prime but still top fighters, (top 5 gatekeepers) with 26 losses just between them two and 84 fights total. No disrespect of course because both these guys have been the best, and have fought everyone, i mean every great fighter in any class near them so the records are deceiving in a way because all opponents are world champs for the last 5 years, just Colby needs to fight records like his, the guys who haven't lost much and in the top tiers.
This is a refreshing interview; well done Adam! After seeing the interview yesterday, which was filled some so many antics (not answering the questions, "reading a book", etc), this interview gives me more appreciation about who Colby is and what his PR strategy is. Good for him to play this role in the UFC; much of it is an act. He's just executing his business in a sport to "entertain". Best wishes to him this weekend.

Great fighter, N I understand why, but he’s the one with the fake persona at the end of the day. Which I think might be the difference maker. Skill set wise they are both top tier but Colby may have put too much pressure and extra stress with all the bs. On the other hand I think Usman is the type to fight better angry. We’ll see 🤷🏾♂️.

Yeah, actually it's clear that the UFC doesn't like Colby's support of President Trump. They basically took away his interim title and didn't give him a title shot, because Usman is managed by one of the higher ups at WME (now called Endeavor). Endeavor's primary owners are democrats, and don't like Trump. Colby has serious balls to keep supporting Trump, knowing that it has hurt his career. It might end up being even better for him now, because he held his ground.
