- Floyd Mayweather tells BBC Sport that "as of right now" he is "completely out" of boxing and rumours of a rematch with Manny Pacquiao are "totally false". Mayweather also believes he has earned the right to call himself the "best ever" after going undefeated throughout his 49 career fights.

Maybe its because I'm not as emotional as many boxing fans but I genuinely dont care if he feels he is the best ever. There is nothing wrong with believing your the best. Personally I cant pick 1 fighter as the best because its too complicated but he's definitely up there. Floyd has a style that is almost impossible to beat and whether you say hes boring is irrelevant. We're not talking about entertainment. We're talking about effectiveness. Watching Floyd fight is like reading the "Art of War." Some people appreciate the strategy and intelligence of it whilst others are too blood thirsty and brain dead to understand it.

Personally i say mike tyson is the best ever for me with ali being the king of boxing he paved the way for floyd to be where hes at today which floyd admits but floyd definitely the best of this era
