Sneak Attack is already so good, but becomes even better when you're drawing three cards per turn. Also, cheating out Uvenwald Hydra to get Reliquary Tower to avoid discarding to hand size and losing was awesome.

I'm just wondering why Matt didn't cast wound reflection after casting the temporal extortion. If Trevor had countered it and then the wound reflection was payed, wouldn't Trevor die at the end of the turn?
Agreed. However, idk if hed have paid anyways, because being at 4 life against mono black is dangerous. That being said, i still agree tht tht would have been the better order

I'm not so sure if dropping Seizan so early was a good play, even if Trevor didn't have Sneak Attack... From what I've seen of Matt's Seizan deck so far, it really wants to get the discard and draw punishment pieces online before letting the opponents draw extra cards, so he can drain them to death before they can take too much advantage of it.
Possible spoiler question In that second last turn, Trevor Sneaks out 2 creatures in Matts endstep, so that he has them for his next turn. Is that a thing? Can you do that?
This game was great but it made me wince at how no one answered the sneak attack and when the only player who could remove it didn't. The other decks didnt seem on equal footing to with Xeno either but most decks aren't anyways lol
i think he probably could have gotten there a turn earlier by just saccing the malignus after the xenagos trigger resolves but before declare atks and just jamming every dude he drew. ofc theres a chance to wiff but i like those odds more than giving him another turn with a cabal coffers
Matt could have use the mirage mirror to copy Liliana's Caress in reponse to the Greater Good activation, making Trevor drop to 2 health and then Trevor would have died to the Seizan trigger!!!! :"(
I think the game changing decision here was not using Assassin's Trophy on the Sneak Attack. That enchantment just went unchecked throughout the whole game and made it feel like a game of archenemy more than commander.
Maybe I missed why Trever was able to keep Scourge & Stonehoof at the end of turn. Shouldn't they be sacrificed if they were put out with Sneak attack?
Sneak Attack has them sacrificed at the beginning of the next end step. Trevor (no relation) brought them out after the beginning of Matt's end step so the trigger would happen on Trevor's end step.
When you activate Sneak Attack during an end step, the beginning of said end step has already passed. Therefore the creatures won't be sacrificed until the NEXT end step.
i mean... I'd never leave a sneak attack on the battlefield if I had something to destroy it in hand.. frank had to use the removal on the creature just cause he didn't destroy the sneak attack before.

To be fair, the fear of Malignus + Xenagos can cause people to develop tunnel vision sometimes.
@@DarkEinherjar The punt was not blowing up the Sneak Attack on turn 2 after his opponents had played Saison and Sneak Attack on successive turns.
@@Threadoflength Also, Malignus doesnt have trample. Until it gets it any chump block can deal with it.
Like I said, tunnel vision. The fear of going from 40 to 0 out of nowhere can easily cause people to make mistakes.

Yep. Because Sneak Attack checks at the beginning of the end step, if you do it in the end step, the check trigger will not go off until the next EoT.
